Nasa library ako dahil sa mga pinapagawa ng teacher namin na seatwork. Hindi na sumama si Wendy dahil tinatamad daw siya.
A few books were sprawled in my table. Naghahanap ako ng mga articles about a certain topic.
"I'm too tired." Sabi ko at ibinagsak ang ulo sa mga libro. Too much information is in my head now.
"Rest a bit." May nagsalita kaya agad akong napabangon. Agad akong napaayos when I saw who the guy was.
"No. I'm okay." Sagot ko. Niligpit ko ang mga gamit ko. I want to leave now because I'm still damn confused with the actions he's been showing me. "Magpapahinga nalang ako mamaya."
"You really should. May nadaanan akong kape kanina, drink it." Ipinatong niya sa lamesa ang isang plastic cup. Amoy ko na ang kape mula sa baso.
"T-thank you." Stop stuttering, Julia.
"I'll get going then." And he left. Nang nakaalis na ito, halos ihampas ko na sa sarili ko ang mga libro na hawak ko kanina pa. I hate Kiro for doing this! He has already meesed up my mind the very day I met him but now he's making it worse! And it's not good to think that until now, he still has the same effect on me.
Matapos kong maikalma ang sarili ko, nag-ayos na ako ng mga gamit ko at kinuha ang kape na ibinigay niya. I'll probably drink this later.
The hallways are still filled with students dahil hindi pa naman tapos ang break time namin. I see most students talking with their friends, lovers, and such.
Dumaan ako sa locker ko para ilagay ang mga hiniram kong libro mula sa library. I can't actually bring them all to my classes.
I was about to open my locker when someone bumped me. Nahulog ang mga librong dala ko at may natapon na kape sa uniform ko. I looked at the person who bumped into me and saw that it was the new girl in the other section.
"I'm really sorry!" Aniya. Kinuha niya ang gamit ko at iniabot ito sa akin. When she saw my stained blouse, nataranta siya. "Oh my! I'll get some tissues!"
"No, no need." Sabi ko. Tinanggap ko ang mga libro. Ngumiti ako sa kanya. "I have an extra uniform in my locker."
"Really? I'm really sorry." Sabi niya. Nginitian niya rin ako. I nodded and she bid her goodbye after saying another sorry.
Nagbihis ako ng uniform at naglakad na pabalik ng classroom but I saw her again, the girl from earlier, running through the hallways. Hindi ko alam ang pangalan niya so I followed her.
She went to the school gardens. Kaunti lang ang mga estudyante dito dahil malayo ito sa center grounds.
Umupo siya sa isang bench sa ilalim ng puno. I stood behind a tree. I didn't approach her yet because I want to observe her for a while. She closed her eyes and tuck earphones in her ears.
I was about to go to her when I saw someone approach her. Nakatalikod ito at hindi ko masyadong kita kung sino dahil maraming puno sa garden. I watched closely as the boy took her earphones and how shocked she looked like. She stood up and hugged the boy.
I was about to leave to give them privacy when the boy sat beside her, facing the tree I've been hiding at. And there, I stood frozen.
The boy she hugged, the boy talking to her right now, the boy who looks bright and friendly with her, is no other than Kiro.
