Maybe
I am in the classroom reviewing some lessons nang may biglang nagkumpulan sa labas.
"What the hell is that?" Agad lumabas si Wendy at sumunod naman ako.
A girl, wearing the same uniform as we do, was in the other classroom. I never saw her before so I'm guessing that she's new here and she has the same ID as we do, the ones with the blue and white colors.
"New student, eh?" Sabi ni Wendy. Pumasok ulit siya dahil nawalan ng interest sa babae but I stayed. She has something in her, but I don't know what.
Maya-maya lang, nagkaroon ulit ng bulungan pero sa kabilang side naman. There I saw, the guy who makes my heart flutter, Kiro, walking with his friends towards our classroom.
At dahil hanggang ngayon, awkward pa rin ako dahil sa nangyari, agad akong pumasok sa classroom at nagpanggap na nagbabasa.
I saw them walk past the room at nakahinga na ako ng maluwag. Baka may gagawin pa sila. I hate being around him but that's what I like. To be around him.
The canteen was crowded with all the students from different levels. Kaya agad kaming pumila ni Wendy sa counter.
"Two roast beef rice meals and apple juice." Sabi ni Wendy. Umuna na akong umalis para maghanap ng upuan.
I saw a table but there was a girl sitting there, yung babae kanina sa kabilang room, but she was alone, maybe we can share.
Lalapit na sana ako when she stood up and ran outside. Nakita kong may sumalubong sa kanya roon at umalis na sila. Well, atleast I got the table.
"It's great that you got a table." Sabi ni Wendy nang pinatong niya ang pagkain namin sa table.
"May babaeng nakaupo rito kanina but umalis siya." Sagot ko.
"Well, good for us." And we started eating.
We finished fast and went back to our classroom. It was too early pero may tatapusin pa kasi akong mga seatworks.
"Oh damn." Rinig kong sabi ni Wendy. Nakita kong hinahalungkat niya ang bag niya.
"You lost something?" Tanong ko at tumayo.
"Nawala ko yung papel na may answers ko. Baka nahulog sa canteen. I'll just look for it." At umalis na ito. Now I'm left alone here since my other classmates are not here.
"A volcano located in planet Mars with a base of 600 km. About 26 km from the Martian surface level to its peak and is about 3 times high as Mt. Everest." I read a question in our Science subject for already 5 times. I scanned through my book repeatedly but I couldn't find the answer.
"Olympus Mons." Napatalon ako ng may nagsalita sa likuran ko. I was not facing the door kaya hindi ko alam kung may dadating ba. I looked up to see who the person was and was shocked.
"K-Kiro?"
"Hey." Sabi nito at lumapit. "Olympus Mons, that's the answer. I read that in a site in the internet."
"R-really?" Stop stuttering. "T-thanks. K-kanina ko pa h-hinahanap ang sagot d-dito eh." Goddamn it!
"You got it now." He smirked. "Alis na ako. See you later at class, Julia." And he left.
Nang makaalis ito ay muntik na akong sumigaw. What is happening? Kiro has been showing himself to me these past few days. Palagi ko siyang nakakusap o nakakasama and there's something in it. Something that makes me damn curious.
A few minutes later, Wendy came back.
"Hindi ko nakita yung papel, gagawa na naman– what happened to you?" She asked when she saw me. I got my head touch the book in my armchair because of too much frustration and confusion.
"Hey! What happened?" Sabi nito at umupo sa harap ko. I calmed myself first and told her everything, not just what happened today but everything.
"Woah." Sabi niya.
"Well yeah."
"Oh my god! Julia!" Sigaw na niya.
"What?"
"I feel something."
"Feel what?" Takang tanong ko.
"I feel that, maybe, only maybe, he has feelings for you, now."
