Talk
"Woah. What happened to you?" Tanong ni Wendy. She looked at me as if she saw a ghost.
"Hindi ako makatulog kagabi." I answered. Inilapag ko ang ulo ko sa table. My head hurts, my body hurts, and my heart hurts, what a day.
"Sleep for awhile. May 30 minutes pa naman before classes start."
"Yeah." In just a few minutes, I fell asleep.
"Julia? Wake up. Magsisimula na ang class." I heard Wendy say and she patted my back. Bumangon ako and rubbed my eyes. My sight is blurry.
When my sight became clear, I immediately wished it turned blurry again. Dahil galing sa pwesto ko, kitang-kita ko si Kiro at Cassandra sa labas. They're talking, as usual. I stared at them but it hurt me to see Kiro holding the girl's hand.
"Shit." I muttered. Pero mukhang narinig yun ni Wendy.
"What do you mean? Where are you look—" She moved her eyes towards the door and unlike me, she was too shocked. "A-are they t-together?"
"Yeah. I think they are." I said and looked in front.
"Teka, kailan mo pa nalaman yan? How can that happen? Kakalipat lang nung girl dito. H-how?" Patuloy niyang tanong.
"Long story, Wendy. I'll tell you about it later." Even though I don't want to, I ignored Wendy's gaze. Hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa kayang isipin ang katotohanan.
I've always had in mind the thought of knowing the relationship between Kiro and Cassandra but I never thought what I will do next. Should I move on? Or should I just ignore what they have and wait for them to break up? Everything is confusing me. Love confuses, hurts, and breaks me.
Natapos ang klase na halos hindi ako nakinig sa lessons. Kung hindi pa ako sinabihan ni Wendy na tapos na ang klase, nakaupo pa rin sana ako sa classroom.
"You have to tell me everything." Wendy said nang nakita niyang wala nang tao sa classroom.
"I will. Let's go to a cafe first. I need a coffee or a drink." Sabi ko at nauna sa paglalakad. Nang makarating kami sa main entrance ng school, nakita ko ang varsity team. I know all of them and obviously Kiro is one of them. He is in the middle of the group and had his towel draped around his neck.
"You should really move on kung may relasyon talaga sila nung babaeng iyon." Sabi ni Wendy na nagpatigil sa akin sa pagtitig kay Kiro. I looked at her.
"I will, just... I cannot now." Aalis na sana ako nang narinig ko ang pangalan ko.
"Julia!" I turned around and saw Neo running towards me. I want to ignore him pero I don't want to be rude.
"Hey." Sabi ko habang nakayuko.
"Julia, please talk to me." Pagmamakaawa niya. I looked at him and saw how desperate he is.
"I think may kailangan kayong ayusin." Sabi ni Wendy galing sa likod ko. "Julia, can I come by your house later? Doon na lang tayo mag-usap. Call me, okay?"
"Thank you, Wendy." Sagot ni Neo. I nodded and Wendy left. "Let's talk somewhere else."
"Neo, may practice pa kayo. We can talk the next day." Sabi ko.
"No." Tumalikod siya at sinigawan ang mga kagrupo niya. "Mauuna na ako!"
I looked at his teammates and saw how they all looked at us, confused. Kiro was also looking at us shocked.
"Let's go." Hinawakan ni Neo ang kamay ko at dinala ako palabas ng campus.
"Where should we talk?" Tanong niya.
"Anywhere's fine." Sagot ko. Tiningnan niya ako.
"Then let's talk at the park."
