We stepped over a hill and there it was. A beautiful clear blue lake, right infront of me. I could see the sun glisten on it's surface.
Suddenly all my problems felt so far away as if I left them home in Arkadia. Raven ran down to the water and I followed slower - of course because I felt like trembling over my own feet. Raven had laid down a blanket for me and I said down rubbing my back because of the pain my growing belly is causing.
The day went by like a dream. We went swimming and Raven got a fish for us. I was happy today. Finally after so many issues.
"Clarke, can I ask you something?" Raven said after we ate the fish.
"Of course, what's wrong?" I turned a little to look at her.
"I wanted to know how it feels to be pregnant", she paused. "you know like does it hurt or does it feel like everyone said. Do you feel the pregnancy glow?"
I was really surprised by that. I never thought of Raven wanting to know about that or even caring about something like that. Maybe she wanted to have children her own.
"Well, Raven, I can't discribe it at all. It's the most beautiful feeling in the world and ant the same time you feel like crying and eating a whole panther all alone." We both started laughing and ended the conversation about my pregnancy.
I should probably had went to bed when we were back. I really should have.
I went to my quarters and right after I had closed the door, it swung open again revealing my mother and Kane. I saw the uneasiness in their eyes. Somehow I knew what was about to come. "Have you found him yet? Is he okay?" I blurred out. I knew that look on her face. She was dying to tell me what I already knew.
