2 month later...

I’m 6 months pregnant right now and the baby seems to be very active. But it didn’t start to kick until now.

Bellamy and some of our friends had started to build a little house for him, the baby and myself a couple of weeks ago. It’s build out of wood and has also windows in it. They all spend most of there free time to build it. So that it would be ready to move in when the little beanie inside me is ready to come out. Which means in around 3 months we will be living in a house like a real little family.

Bellamy never spoke about our conversation 2 months ago. I never bothered him with that either.  Maybe he doesn’t even remember anything. I don’t know whether I like that or not.

I walked along the corridors of the ark. But suddenly I couldn’t breath properly. I tried to shore myself up with one arm on the wall. It started to get a little better until the pain consumed my body again. I felt myself drop and slide down the wall.

People were coming to help. Two strong men lifted my body up and carried me to med bay, where someone already had informed my mother.

“Clarke, sweetheart, what’s wrong?”, she asked, rubbing my arm like only a mother could. “I ... Baby ... K-kicking”, came over my lips while I breathed heavily. My mom smiled wide. “Oh, okay sweetheart. Let me see what I can do for you.” The baby was kicking up to my lungs. I knew that she shouldn’t lay with her head down right now, she was so far away from being born. My mother scanned my belly with her hands and exerted pressure on some spots. I felt my baby move and then she was laying with her feet to my right side.

My mother and I stayed quiet for a short period of time until she started kicking again. She kicked that hard that I could see her little feet on my belly. I almost screamed from happiness.

“So, sweetheart, you’re good now. But be careful, when she moves again. Come right back, got it?” Now she seemed to be more a doctor than a mother. “Yes, mom, when she moves I’ll be right back.” I just knew that my baby was a girl. To me she was a girl from the first moment I knew about her. Bellamy wanted to have a boy. Speaking of Bellamy, where was he? I needed to tell him, that our daughter was kicking.
