First "I Love You"

Light

You decided to have a movie marathon and watched a load of random, cheesy stuff on netflix. You both lay on his bed hours later, too tired to even talk. You wrote him a notes (yes, despite being right beside him)

Stop eating potato chips Light, the noise is annoying me.

No.

How many packets have you eaten today?

I'm not sure, MOM.

I'm not your mom, I'm your waifu.

He smiled and pushed the notebook away, then turned to face you. As always, his eyes amazed you. He took your hands in his, still smiling like an angel.

"Y/N, I know you're too tired to talk right now so you don't have to reply, but I thought you should know that I love you."

If you couldn't talk before, you were completely speechless now. You threw your arms around him.

"I'm so glad to have you in my life." He continued. "I almost went down a bad path just before I met you."

It was a while before you could speak again, and you told him you love him too. You pointed at his notebook and you both wrote "I love you" and swapped pages as a reminder.

L

You arrived at L's place at the time he'd asked you to come over, but he wasn't answering the doorbell or his phone. You weren't in the mood to be stood up again, so you resorted to calling Watari.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'm with L right now, we didn't realise the time or hear the bell over his music. I'll be right there."

L didn't listen to music much, he preferred silence so he could 'hear himself think' so you were a bit surprised but glad since you'd been trying to introduce him to the world of music.

Watari opened the door and ushered you to the kitchen, which was upside down (as in a complete mess, not literally upside down, cos that would just be weird)

L looked at you rather sheepishly, his mouth full of cake, his face covered in it and his body, well his clothes, covered in flour and stuff. All you could think was how cute he looked in the apron he wore. It was white with a big pink cupcake.

"I think I made you a cake. If it passes as a cake."

"Aww that's sweet of you, thanks L."

You brushed some flour out of his hair before looking at his cake (you'd no doubt he'd end up eating a large percentage of it)

It was sponge with white icing and a load of strawberries placed in a heart shape on top. You realised he was holding his breath, as you read the writing.

Y/N, I lovv you.

"What does that mean?"

He facepalmed, literally.

"It was meant to say I love you. I was excited and behind schedule. Ugh I ruined it. L, you idiot!"

You silenced him by kissing him.

"You didn't ruin it, I love it. And I love you too, L."

He literally beamed.

"Oh, I just hope the cake doesn't poison you though."

"How romantic." You laughed.

Mello

You'd basically spent the whole weekend together, walking around the town to see various places during the day, and then just chilling afterwards. He'd been talking non stop until about an hour ago, when he suddenly went quiet. You worried that he was fed up of you, you asked if you should leave but he said no. He definitely wasn't himself though and you didn't think it was tiredness. Your mind raced over the past two days, trying to remember if you'd done something wrong. When he finally spoke, his words sent your heart plummeting.

"Y/N, we need to talk."

"It's ok Mello, you don't have to say it. I knew you'd leave me. You probably found someone better. It's not like I'm ever good enough for anyone. "

"No, that's not what I meant."

You got up to leave, but he grabbed and pulled you back.

"Listen to me. I worded it wrong because I'm nervous. I wanted to say that I love you."

"Really?" 

"Yes. I love you. I'm in love with you!" He shouted.

"Ok, calm down Mells." You giggled, relieved and very happy.

"I love you too by the way."

Matt

Matt called to your house and handed you a red rose.

"It's a single rose to show you're my one and only. I know you like black roses but I got you a red rose to match my hair."

"Aww thank you, I love your hair."

"And I love you." He said, blushing.

"Oh my god, I love you too Matty."

Near

You were in Near's house and he brought you to his room to show you that he'd put the first toy he'd got from your Santa's grotto on display on his bedside locker.

"I'll keep it forever." He told you.

"That's so cute." You smiled.

He twirled his hair and cleared his throat.

"I am glad I went, I felt a bit silly going on my own. But if I had known you were there I would have gone sooner. I love you."

You hugged him. "I'm glad you came. I love you too Near."

Misa

You were in Misa's house after a theatre date. You were singing songs from the show, while she listened and watched you with a smile.

"You seem happy, that makes me happy." She said.

"You make me happy, Misa."

"Same. I haven't been happy since my parents died. I never truly loved anyone else. But I love you. You're my family now."

You stopped singing and held her close.

"I love you too Misa, and I'll always be here for you."
