Dating Death Note Characters

Engagement

Light

Light took you out to dinner and he seemed nervous, which wasn't like him. You were too busy enjoying the posh food to worry much. He seemed to grow more nervous as dessert arrived and he told you to be careful eating your cake.

"Light, you're being weird," You told him.

He watched you as you took your first bite, then continued to watch as you ate more. On your third bite, you bit into something and shrieked.

You screamed when you looked and saw a ring 💍 Yes, he'd done the old "ring in the food" to propose.

He got down on one knee and asked you to marry him, you accepted and he took the ring and put it on your finger.

L

L brought cake to your house, which was nothing unusual. In fact, there was no such thing as L without cake. He didn't eat it straight away, which was unusual. Instead he kept staring at you, which was normal for him too. Eventually you asked;

"Are you going to eat your cake?"

"Yes, but I need you to open the box please."

You didn't know why he'd need that but you opened the cake box and gasped as you read the writing on icing on the cake.

Will you be my sweet wife?

Of course you said yes.

Mello

Mello was such a dork sometimes. He still worked in the chocolate shop and he'd gotten two chocolate figures made of you and him. It was really cute of him, but the way he was staring at you with his bug eyes was a bit creepy. You went to bite into your chocolate Mello, when he cleared his throat and pointed towards the hands on the figures. You looked and saw each was wearing a ring, no big deal until you realised they were on the engagement fingers. Mello got down on one knee and asked you to marry him, you literally jumped on him (to hug him and shout yes)

Matt

You arrived at Matt's house one day and he was acting embarrassed. I say acting because you could tell he was pretending.

"Oh no, you caught me watching Yuri On Ice!"

You went to his living room and sat down to watch with him. He was watching the episode with the engagement and you teared up while watching, even though you'd seen it a million times already.

"Stand up," Matt ordered when the episode was over.

You stood up and he took your hand.

"You're my good luck charm, will you also be my waifu?"

You almost laughed at his using waifu, but you kissed him instead and said yes.

Near

Near did pretty much the same thing. He knew you loved cats so he gave you a teddy cat wearing a ring and you said yes. He nodded his approval then went back to doing a puzzle while twirling his hair.

Misa

Misa asked you on live television. She was onstage and suddenly pointed at you, shrieking.

"That's my girl! I want to marry her! Will you?!"

Of course the cameras quickly turned to you and you nodded.

Misa shrieked again and ran into the audience to hug you.
