A ripple of coughs went through my body. Man, was it ever dusty in here? "What no! Tyler is not that easy to kill. Besides, he wouldn't just come here. I talked to him, like 10 minutes ago!"

Maks doesn't believe me. "I DNA tested him," he says, "it's Tyler Perez. No doubt about it. He's been on Cyber's hit list for a LONG time." He emphasizes that word "long."

I roll my eyes. "Bull. Tyler is not that easy to kill," I say. "Seriously," I look Maks in the eyes, "with Cyber's training, and the cause of death, Tyler shouldn't be dead from that." I take off the blue gloves I'd worn while examining his body. No doubt from Maks it would be a gunshot wound, not before a heavy beating though. I whip out my phone, ready to text Tyler. He's not dead, he can't be dead. I try to text him but there's no response. God, Tyler can't possibly be dead. That guy is not him.

"What are you doing?" Maks asks, trying to look over my shoulder.

I violently shrug him off. "What the hell? I'm trying to text Tyler, you idiot! That guy is not him, I swear," I continue to deny. I don't believe a word that Tyler's dead. That's just not possible.

"Tell that to DNA testing!" he says, "Tyler's dead end of story." He grabs my shoulder, yanking towards the door.

"What are you doing? Let me go!" I protest, wrestling out of Maks' grasp.

"I'm taking you to Bosnia."

Echo:

"Dami help"

Damian:

"What's the matter?"

Echo:

"HELP He's taking me to Bosnia"

Damian:

"We're on our way!"

"What the hell? That's such a stupid message," I shake my head and frown. That's a stupid thing to do really. You don't kidnap someone and then tell the whole world about it and then actually take the hostage there! "What even is your plan? Because I can't even begin to explain what the absolute hell is wrong with this plan."

Maks' grip on the steering wheel tightens as he clenches his teeth. "Alice, I like you, I really do. But you need to be quiet," he says, taking a very long and annoyed look down out the window.

I follow suit and look out the window. Everything has trees. That's literally all I can freaking see. It annoys me because to get to Bosnia Maks' needs to get himself and me on a plane. He should also go through security if he gets caught. Damn, Maks, what in the hell are you doing? "Ouch, Maky, using my real name... That hurts," I mutter. The binds around my hands are making my wrists sore and the seatbelt is almost strangling me.

He sighs, "Echo, Alice, whatever. I told you that I would-" A phone call interrupts him. Maks picks up the call, not before giving me some eye contact reassurance. It's really "comforting." Said no one, like, ever. "Agent M," he says into the phone, keeping one hand on the wheel and the other on his phone.

"Don't call and drive asshole!" I shout, "I'd rather get to Bosnia than die in a car crash on the way!"

"Yeah," he glares at me from the mirror.. I grin at him. "I got her. We're on route to the primary location. ETA 30 minutes."

I roll my eyes, looking at the knots Maks used to tie me with. I feel like a trapped child in the backseat of a car. God, does Maks ever feel like he's my mother? "Maky, Maky, Maks... Using the knots I taught you how to tie! Damn you!" I glare at him, shaking my head again.
