It was a half hour later when we landed. Usually, the flight would take longer but I wasn't gonna wait for longer. Being me, I accelerate the copter, making it's maxed speed even higher.

"There's an open area!" I shout, pointing to the field below us. It was covered with a light layer of snow. I definitely did not pack for this weather. I had kept the gun in my hand, just in case I had to use it. Tyler had tried to reach us but I threw the radio system out about 5 minutes into our flight.

The pilot nods and begins descending. Once the feet touch the ground, I jump out and onto the snow. I take a look around as my hair is blowing around me. I brush it out of the way. I check the coordinates on the phone I stole from him. We weren't that far from the warehouse. I'm really hoping I make it to the warehouse before Damian does.

The helicopter flies away, leaving me in the middle of nowhere without proper clothes. I check the map. There's a town nearby that I could get to. It's close to the warehouse and it'll give me time to prepare.

I sigh, shoving my hands into my pockets and pulling up my hood over my head. This was going to be a long walk.

The forest around me was pretty empty. Just trees, some wild deer, and stuff. It wasn't that entertaining to walk through. My lips were quivering and every inch of my body was frozen. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I was starting to lose consciousness but I couldn't stop now. I forced my cold legs to keep walking. I had to keep walking. I had to keep walking. I had to. I had to. I had to. I had to. The last thing I could think of was dying from hypothermia in the woods, the last time I saw Damian, we were fighting.

When I came to, I wasn't in the woods anymore. It was warm and the smell of hot tea was floating in the air. I was staring at the wooden ceiling of someone's house. I blink a few times, my mind beginning to work again. I sit up and take a look around the room. There's a lit fireplace nearby, where the heat was coming from. There was a wooden table, a stove with a kettle on it and a few chairs. Someone must've brought me here, but why?

"I see you're awake," a sweet voice asks. I hear the sound of a chair scraping against the floor and footsteps walking towards me. It was an older looking woman, she was grey-haired but had the sweetest looking eyes I'd ever seen. "I thought you were dead when I stumbled upon ya in the forest. You got lucky dear," she smiles and sets a teacup on the table beside me.

It's still steaming. "Thank you... but why did you bring me here?" I ask her. I didn't have the slightest clue why she'd take in a complete stranger.

She chuckles, "why wouldn't I?" she turns the question back on me. I hated when people do that. "It's basic humanity. You look young and I'm sure you're healthy. Your life is too short to die in the woods, all alone."

"I guess..." I say, laying back down. Exhaustion was getting to me again and I really wanted to go back to sleep. My eyes close as the crackling of the fire starts to lull me.

"My, my, what happened? You must have been out there for a long time to freeze that badly. What happened?"

My eyes jolt open. Damian. Bosnia. Tyler. Maks. Cyber.
