We punctuate our sentences
With stupid little marks.
We let them end whatever they please.
So what if we're just sentences?
Just yearning to end our lives.
What if our scars,
Our bruises,
Our pain,
Are just commas?
Just pauses?
Not periods.
Not exclamations.
Not questions.
Just
Commas.
Each time we rest we hit one.
Comma
After
Comma
After
Comma.
Just rest.
Just pause.
Then continue on.
But wouldn't that mean suicide
Is just punctuation?
I believe so.
But I feel like you'd be punctuating too soon.
Like simply saying
"And."
