My body is a canvas
Which everybody paints.
My mind is but a kingdom
That's ruled but by what face?
My heart's the gypsy's crystal ball
From which she reads my fate.
My eyes are skies of blue
Which often change to grey.
Emotions are the waves
That greet beaches day by day.
My soul is but the moonlight
Against the big dark sky.
My words are simply snowflakes
Seeking those to hurt or heal.
And music is the solace
Which calms the battlefield.
Opinions are our pillars
Which stand through dark old days.
But I am only human
So they might not go away.
But I will stand my ground here.
Stay strong against the pain.
