27- Kidnapped By Vampires? But it's My Time of the Month!

--------------------------------------------------------------

What sucks about these big long breaks of mine between writing is that it takes foreeeeeeever for my story for people to start reading it again. I guess it's the price I pay for laziness -_- Here's part 27. Comment, Vote, become a fan!

It doesnt matter what town, city, state, or country you are in, school, will always suck. So moving to a different school did absolutely nothing about how I felt about the public school learning process. And today, was going especially slow. Dylan and I walk silently down the hall while David talks to me about things I really don't care about. I keep glancing over at Dylan every once in a while, wondering how to break the awkward silence between us. He catches me once and then sighs, grabbing a hold of my hand as we continue walking to fourth hour.

I don't mean to treat him this way. I don't even know why I do it. But what can I do when all that I want is to go to sleep and see that man again? And for him to wrap his arms around and make me feel safe again? Everything about my life now is showered with uncertainty but when I'm with him, it's like all of that goes away. I love his smile, his laugh, his eyes, his body, his kisse-

"Lilly, watch ou-" Dylan tries to warn me.

"Ow!" I tumble to the ground, along with whoever I ran into, books scattering everywhere. Why the hell am I so accident prone?

"Are you okay?"

I look up to see Captain America looking at me with worry on his face. Well, not really Captain America, but Lance does bear a striking resemblance.

"Oh, hey Lance. Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." I give him a genuine smile. Something about this boy always cheers me up.

"Don't worry about it, I wasn't either. Let me help you up." He goes to reach for me, but I hear David scoff and then pull me up off of the ground.

"Watch where you're going next time." David growls at him.

"Dude, it was just an accident." Lance says as he gets up.

"Sure it was, like we can't tell what you're trying to pu-" I elbow him in the stomach, knowing it didn't hurt him but hoping it will still shut him up.

"Come on, let's just go to class. Oh, and sorry about running out on you like that yesterday Lance." I pick up my things off the ground with Dylan's help and pick up my purse that had fallen on the floor.

"It's whatever Lilly. See you after the game tonight?" He hands me a stray pencil off the ground and holds it out to me.

"You bet." Our hands brush as I take it from him and the boy smiles even wider.

"See ya then." He twangs a bit in that handsome little Southern boy voice of his.

I look up at Dylan who I see has a dark look on his face as he stares after Lance. What he's thinking, I have no clue. I really need a friend. That's a girl. Being around all this testosterone all the time has got to be unhealthy. Well, at least for my mental stability. I sigh and we continue on our way to class, with Dylan still being distant and David still being annoying. This day better get over with fast.

"Lilly! Are you ready? It's time to leave. The game starts in 15 minutes!" Daniel yells right outside my door. I may be dumb for living with these men, but I'm sure as hell not deaf. Yeah, I just made a joke. Get off it.
