Forteenth part: Kidnapped by Vampires? But it's My Time of the Month!

Here's part 14! Enjoy!

----------------------------------- L

" You're starting school tomorrow Lilly."

I start choaking on my partly chewed bacon as I process my brother's words. School? Tomorrow? What the heck? The boys are looking at me worriedly as I try to get down some orange juice to try and prevent myself from prematurely dying. They're certainly already enough dead people to go around. Excuse me, undead people.

"What do you mean school? It's already almost the end of August." I say still half choking on my breakfast.

"That's what time school starts here." He replies.

"After all you've gone through to keep me here, you're going to let me go to school all by myself?" I reply incredulously.

"You're not going to be alone, we're going with you." Daniel says with a half-amused look in his eyes.

With... them. You've got to be kidding me. Aren't they supposed to be "vampires"? What business do they have in going to high school?

"You, going to school, with me? That's not gonna happen."

"Its already been decided. You're going to school and we're going also so you don't get into trouble."

"The only thing that's going to get me into trouble is you guys. You can't follow me around everywhere, ya know?" I state back to him.

"All of us aren't going to be. But we've made sure that atleast one of us are in each of your classes." Daniel said while looking at my empty plate disdainfully, as if wondering why I'd actually eat that.

Yeah, I don't know how this is gonna work out, but if these drama filled days here at the house are any indication to how school is going to be, then I'm in for a hell of a big mess.

"Fine, but know that I will not like it and I will not restrain myself from showing it." I say while handing my plate to Eleanor and getting up from the table.

I give Daniel a smile that resembles more of a frown and look at the boys sitting around us. In any other circumstances, a girl could say she got really lucky to be able to have this many gorgeous men around her. In my case, I'd say I'm just lucky to not be getting eaten, but having beautiful men surround you 24/7 does have its perks.

"So, who wants to go do something?" I ask while making it blatenly obvious that the question does not include Daniel.

"Well, the other boys have errands to run today, so it looks like it's just you and me baby."

I look over at Derrick and raise my eyebrow at him as if to say, "Can you get any cornier?". He smirks up at me and gives me a look that says "There's more where that came from." I can't help but smile at how cute he's being. Then... I look at Daniel. What a buzz kill.

"So when are you leaving?" I ask Dylan, who doesn't look particularly happy at the moment either, but I choose to ignore it. For now.

"Soon. We've got to make sure everything is going to go smoothly tomorrow and bringing Derrick along might not have helped with our... quest." He gives Derrick a friendly punch on the arm, who has been frowning at Dylan, with that dashing smile of his that could melt any heart. Or at least, it has mine anyway.

I look over at David who is staring intently at me from behind Daniel. This guy may be gorgeous, but he's been giving me some major creeper vibes lately. Oh, and he's also friends with Daniel. That may, and this is a may, be the reason why I've been more inclined to be friendlier with the other duo.

"Come on, we still have to...meet with her teachers." Daniel says while standing up and giving me a sideways glance.

"Well, bye then!" I say to Dylan. Daniel sighs and heads to the front door, but not without giving Derrick a sharp look that, if tangible, probably could've killed the man. David gives me one last look and follows after Daniel, Dylan not far behind. But before Dylan leaves the kitchen, he turns around and gives me a wink that is more lethal than Daniel's death stare. I grin back at him like an idiot and wave him a goodbye, my knees a little wobbily.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Derrick says while rolling his eyes. I in turn roll my eyes at his cliché but brighten immensely when I realize that we are alone. Well, alone except for the fact that Eleanor ran off somewhere once Daniel left.

"So what do you want to do today?" I smile up at him.

"I have a few things planned." He smirks. This statement makes me very suspicious and weary, but curious nonetheless.

He suddenly takes my hand and pulls me out of the kitchen and down one of the many empty corridors. I gasp at his abruptness but soon revel in the pleasure of having him hold my hand. Just like the first time we met. We stop suddenly and I experience deja vu and run into him. Again. His broad chest moves slowly up and down where I have placed my hands to steady me. I then realize how close we are but I really have no inclination of wanting to step back. I stare up into his deep blue eyes that are latched onto mine and become fixated with them.

"This really wasn't one of the plans Lilly, but I guess I could pencil it in." He whispers in a voice that seems to have grown lower, making me shiver in the process.

I smile at his remark and run my hands over his chest. Simply touching him like this is fascinating and my hands travel lower till they reach the bottom of his shirt. I slip my fingers under it and marvel at the smoothness of his flawless skin. I feel him shiver in turn and he puts his arms around me, drawing me closer. I look back up at him and he slowly lowers his head down to mine. My eyes shut slowly as I feel his soft lips brush my temple. Then my eyelids, then my...

I hear a loud and annoying ringing sound coming from his pocket that shatters the mood that had been growing around us. Derrick sighs and slowly unraps his arms from around me and fishes his phone out of his pocket.

"Hello?" He asks, still in a daze. The voice on the other line is audible to my ears and is unmistakingly and infamously... my brother.

" Yes, I just wanted to remind you. Touching... is off limits."

Derrick closes his phone quietly and stares down at it for a minute, his hair covering his face. All the while the anger that my brother had just ignited in me, slowly rises. Derrick finally looks up and his eyes show his feelings mirror my own.

If Derrick doesn't kill Daniel, then I am definately on the number one spot for his executioner. Like I said before. What a buzz kill.
