4- Kidnapped by Vampires? But it's My Time of the Month!

"What... what did you say?" I ask, not sure I heard him right.

My heart is now pounding wildly and my mouth is hanging open like a complete idiot.

"I said my na-," but he doesn't get to finish what he's saying on account of the door swinging open.

"Daniel!" says a guy at the door.

And oh boy was this guy gorgeous. Now my mouth is hanging open for another reason. But I don't have much time to dwell on this matter, because the new guy comes over and takes hold of my hand and pulls me out the door. Before I turn the corner I look back at Daniel to see what I think is an angry expression bordering on malevolent, but my attention has to turn back to this new guy who is still clutching my hand. I stare at our interlocked fingers as he keeps pulling me down the long hallway. I am so entranced that I don't realize he has stopped and turned around. My body collides with his and I gasp in surprise.

"Hey what was that for?" I say, pulling my hand out of his grasp to rub my cheek where it hit his chest.

"I didn't do anything Lilly," he replies.

That's when he does something unexpected. Reaching out and placing his fingers under my chin, he lifts my head till I'm staring into his clear blue eyes. As I'm lost in his unwavering stare, he leans down as if he is going to kiss me. My lips begin to part, but at the last minute he turns my head to the right and plants a light kiss on my cheek.

"All better now Lilly," he breathes into my ear sending shivers down my spine.

What am I thinking? I would have let him kiss me and I don't even know his name. A throat suddenly clears a little ways down the hall, waking me up from whatever trance I had been in.

"Excuse me Derrick, but could you not force yourself on the girl as soon as she gets here?" The guy asks in a way that makes me think this isn't the first time he's had to say this.

As they continue arguing, I start backing away from both of them. I am so getting out of here, now to find the way out of this place. I turn around and sprint away in the opposite direction away from Crazy and Crazier.

"Door, door, where is the door?" I sing to myself.

I hear a noise behind me so I look back to see both of the guys from before.

"Lilly! Wait up!" They yell after me.

Oh hell no. There is no way I am waiting for them. As I'm looking back at the two fast approaching figures, I didn't notice a flight of stairs appearing in front of me. So being the klutz that I am, I start making my descent down the flight of stairs. And when I say descending, I really mean falling. I squeeze my eyes shut waiting for the contact with the floor, but it never comes. I slowly open my eyes wondering why I'm not dead and find the culprit who rescued me from gravity, or should I say savior?

"Hello Lilly, my name's David." The man tells me.

I barely hear him. I'm too busy staring at his face. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful man. His smile is warm and the light from the stairwell shines down on him, making a halo of light around his head. Maybe I did die and this is heaven. I shut my eyes and try to steady my breathing.

"Lilly are you okay? The angel of a man asks.

"Hmmm ye-ugh." Pain shoots through my body and I am forced to the ground.

I look up to see Derrick and the other guy looking down at me from the top of the stairs with a worried looks on their faces. I clench my eyelids shut and wrap my arms around myself trying to blot out the pain. David is bending over me and soon I feel his strong arms around me and I'm being lifted up from the floor.

"Get Daniel!" David yells up at the other two boys. It's getting harder for me to think as the nausea sets in.

I really have got to stop getting sick in front of hot men, or, you know, on them.
