13- Kidnapped by Vampires? But it's My Time of the Month!
------------------------------------Daniel
A small groan whispers across the wind as I slowly stand up and wipe my mouth on my hand, leaving a dark stain that shines in the moonlight. The woman beneath me moans but I ignore it and look around in the scarcely lit park. A figure appears beside me and puts a hand on my shoulder.
David stands next to me, arms crossed. "Are you ready Daniel?"
"Yeah, where are the others?"
"Who cares? Let's just go," he replies with an apparent frown on his face.
"I wouldn't if it wasn't for this impending doubt that Derrick is going to kill someone."
David sighs and steps back to look around.
"Well, they can't be too far."
I search for the other men's minds and sense them across the park next to one dimly lit human mind. I sigh and appear beside them.
"Are you ready?" I ask, causing Derrick to jump a little while Dylan sits on a nearby park bench with his arms extended and resting on the back. He sighs and gets up slowly.
"Whenever you're ready."
I choose to ignore his sarcasm and go back to David.
"Come on; let's go see if she's awake yet."

My eyes open to the high ceiling of my room. I breathe in deeply and smell something wonderful. Food. I have not been eating enough lately. Getting up too quickly, I almost fall to the floor, but shake it off and speedily go to my closet to get changed and then to the bathroom to freshen up.
"I wonder where the kitchen actually is."
I decide to follow my nose and head in the general direction of the food smell, which I have come to learn, must be bacon. Yum. I walk into the humongous sized kitchen and see Eleanor standing at the stove where bacon is crackling in an equally humongous pan.
"Hi Eleanor!" I say brightly as I skip into the kitchen. Food makes me happy. It will also take my mind off the whole "my brother is a blood-sucking monster" news that I received yesterday.
"Good morning Miss Lilly." She looks up and smiles at me.
Shock courses through me. I always assumed Eleanor was old, partly because of her name, and partly because I was always preoccupied with my brother that I never really took the chance to look at her. In all actuality, Eleanor may be just a few years older than me. Well at least there's someone that can relate to me in some way here in this house ruled by men, if you can even call them that.
"How did you get to be trapped in this house Eleanor?"
She looks back up at me and a soft smile appears on her face.
"I owe your brother a lot."
"Ok. But why do you work around the house all the time and take orders from all of them?" I ask with a confused look on my face.
"I enjoy being here with the boys. I used to do the exact same thing at the old... house too." I noticed her expression turned a little sour as she talked about where they used to live.
"Why do you owe my brother Eleanor?"
Eleanor turns back to her cooking and sighs. She doesn't answer right away but finally I get a response.
"You see, the old Master never treated me well. When your brother and the boys decided to leave, they took me with them. They have all told me I am free for many years now, but I could never leave the boys or your...brother."
As she says the last sentence a blush creeps into her cheeks, making her seem even prettier. Her dark hair falls in her face and she pushes it back nervously.
I soon realize what this chick's about and a huge grin appears on my own face.
"You like him, don't you?" I probe teasingly.
She glances at me quickly then puts on a blank face and turns to put more bacon in the pan, making an array of popping noises as the grease collides with the bacon.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Eleanor says quickly.
"Sure, sure you don't," I say as I drop the subject and the only thing that remains is a small smirk plastered on my face.
I hear a noise at the front door and get up to go see who it is. Daniel walks into the front entryway followed by David, Derrick, and Dylan.
"Oh, it's just you," I say pointedly to Daniel and turn back around to head back into the kitchen.
I sit down at the bar and wait for Eleanor to be done with breakfast. Daniel comes and sits down to my right and Derrick to my left and the other boys follow their example. I turn away from Daniel and face Derrick. Again, I'm struck by how hot this guy is but I shake it off and smile up at him.
"Good morning Derrick. How are you on this fine day?" The sentence is followed ironically by thunder. My smile is erased with a frown as I look out the window above the stove where Eleanor is still standing.
"Good, since it seems I'll be staying in the house with you all day," Derrick laughs.
This sentence is followed by a growl behind me that I ignore and Derrick follows suit. He only shows a small smirk as evidence that he heard anything.
"So what DO you want to do today Miss Lilly?" He says with an amused light in his eyes that are filled with mischief as he pushes a strand of hair behind my ear and lets his hand linger there.
I hear a scooting of a chair behind me as Daniel stands up but Dylan calms down the situation by putting a hand on Derrick's shoulder and staring hard into Daniel's eyes. David also begins to stand up but Daniel places a hand on his shoulder to push him back down.
I am completely oblivious while this happening due to the fact that Eleanor put a huge plate of bacon and a couple of eggs in front of me. I talk happily with Eleanor as I munch on my food. The boys look down at me and slowly sit themselves down, not knowing what to think.
I laugh to myself and continue eating, still feeling a tingling sensation on my cheek where Derrick touched me. Yes. This is going to be a fun day.
