My eyes shot open as I heard my phone buzz against the wood of the table beside of my bed. I had been in and out of sleep since laying down, and I think being in my old room was affecting my ability to sleep comfortably. I reached over and grabbed not only my phone, but my glasses as well. I slipped my glasses on and looked down at my phone.

texting you has just made me realize that. im not trying to make this awkward, and im not saying i miss being in a relationship with you... i just miss quincy. the girl i spent years infatuated with, my best friend. and the last couple days have made me realize that we gave that up so quickly. the other night when you brought up how abruptly relationships can end over one decision... you were completely right. and it's incredible how fast you can lose someone over one thing.
