Bang
The ringing of a bullet echoed through the nearly deserted office complex. Corpses were scattered around the building, men and women alike, tonight had been a blood fest.
Located on the very top floor of the building, were the only lives left. One was a deadly assassin who was training a gun at the other's head.
"Please, I'll give you anything! Money! Riches! Put the gun down and we could come up with a compromise, how's that sound?" Stuttered out a man in an expensive looking business suit. He was sitting on the ground, cowering against a desk, eyes trained on the barrel of the gun pointed at his forehead.
"I have my orders," the wielder of the weapon replied, before uttering out an apology. Within the blink of an eye, there was a bullet lodged in the man's head with a matching bullet wound in his heart. To put it simply, he was dead.
The assassin sighed, shooting the video cameras in the office before taking off her mask.
"I really hate this job," said Marina, stepping away from the pool of blood leaking out of her latest target. Crinkling her nose in disgust, she walked down the stairs to the bottom floor, changing into a casual outfit as she did so.
Now clad in a pair of jeans, a dark hoodie, and a beanie, she left the building and slipped into the dark of the night.
