Jungkook's penthouse was a complete mess by the end of the evening, and Marina and Jungkook ended up spending the rest of it cleaning up his penthouse.

Too tired to think, Marina collapsed onto Jungkook's bed after a quick shower, once again forgetting that she was in his penthouse since they looked similar.

Jungkook, who took a shower after her, was immensely startled by the girl just laying there. His mind had already checked out for the night but was conscious enough to realize that it wouldn't be right for him to sleep with Marina.

He glanced over at her, before reaching for the door handle in order to retire to the guest bedroom. However, of course, he was stopped.

"Kookie," Marina mumbled, slowly sitting up. "I should get going, I don't want to prevent you from sleeping comfortably here on your own bed."

She walked over to Jungkook, pulling him by his wrist towards the bed. Marina lightly shoved him down onto his mattress before he could protest, and turned to leave.

Clumsily opening the door, she was about to walk out but was interrupted by a concerned voice.

"Wait a second, you'll end up falling asleep in the middle of the hall on your way back," Jungkook yawned tiredly, sleepiness clouding his judgment. Walking over to the woman, he tugged her into his arms, before falling back onto his bed.

Marina glanced up at his face, laughing softly at how he already fell asleep. Too tired to wiggle her way out of his embrace, she reached over to pull Jungkook's comforter over the two of them before drifting off to, feeling curiously secure in Jungkook's arms.

(The next morning)

(Marina's POV)

"It's so warm," I thought, relishing in how comfortable my bed was this morning. Yawning slightly, I turned my head the other way to get more comfortable. I snuggled closer to the source emanating the comforting warmth, wrapping my arms around his chest. "Wait a second... what?!"

Forcing my eyes open, I tilted my head up until I came face to face with Jungkook. My nose gently brushed with his, as my heart rate sped up against my will.

"Why am I here again?" I questioned in my head, eyes raking curiously over the cute bunny features of my target. After a few seconds, my brain finally seemed to start working along with my memory as well. "Oh, right."

I was jolted out of my thoughts, when the young man underneath me turned to his side, bringing my body along with his. He subconsciously wrapped his arms around me tighter, exhaling a small yawn.

"Morning bunny," I teased, catching a glimpse of his cute teeth.

Jungkook whined slightly, pulling me even closer to his chest so that all my voice was suffocated into the soft material of his white shirt.

I drew a face, glaring up as far as I could without straining my neck. In all honesty, my face was starting to flush and I was surprised he couldn't feel it.

"I'm a human, not a rabbit," Jungkook mumbled softly. All of a sudden, his body stiffened and his eyes shot open to meet my own.

I was trying to stifle a laugh at his adorable reply, before breathing out a cheerful good morning. His face flushed scarlet, stammering out his own greeting.

Closing my eyes again, I stretched my arms up like a cat, yawning. Upon opening them, I realized that I was wearing one of Jungkook's baggy, white t-shirts.

"I must have mistaken it for my dress, oh well it was wet anyway," I thought, staring at my makeshift nightgown. "At least it completely covers me."

Jungkook's face flushed an even darker shade of red, as he eyed the large shirt, clinging loosely over my small frame.

Where is your mind wandering child? My eyes are up here.

"Like my new attire?" I teased regaining Jungkook's attention. His eyes shot back up to meet mine, looking extremely embarrassed for having been caught staring.

"Cute," I cooed, reaching up to pinch his soft cheeks. He smiled in embarrassment, before frowning cutely.

"Stop teasing me," he reprimanded, but it came out as more of a muffled request since I had taken it to myself to make different shapes with his face. As of now, he looked like a fish.

Completely ignoring him, I smiled adoringly. "Adorable."

Jungkook scrunched his face up in distaste, half-heartedly glaring at me.

At this point, it felt like it was just us. No mission, no responsibilities, no nothing. It was just us, two imperfect human beings messing around on a lazy morning.

Two normal human beings who were beginning to develop feelings for each other. Feelings that couldn't be accepted by the society they were surrounded by. It was forbidden love.
