"KOOKIE WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?!" Hollered Taehyung, tackling the maknae in a bear hug.

Jungkook stumbled backward, nearing falling as he accepted the loving embrace. He glanced over Taehyung's shoulder, slapping on an adorable bunny smile. "Ah, it's nothing, I was just cooking."

"Chim, there must be something wrong, he never cooks," said Taehyung, pulling back and eyeing Jungkook weirdly.

"What're you hiding?" questioned Jimin, briskly walking inside the penthouse and scanning his surroundings. Sure enough there on the table were several dishes and two empty plates.

Jungkook sweatdropped, at the clear indicators of Marina's presence. Knowing that his cover was about to be blown, he walked over to the stove, carefully sliding the contents of the pan onto a plate before setting it on the kitchen table.

"Two plates... Were you having guests over? Well actually, that was a pointless question there must be someone else here because as far as I'm concerned you haven't cooked anything for months, maybe years," he continued.

"Besides, there aren't any ingredients in your fridge, except a few leftovers..." commented Taehyung, having opened the refrigerator. He glanced over at Jungkook questioningly.

Just then, the oven's timer went off, startling the three men.

"Well, the act's over anyways," thought Marina, who had been intently listening in on their conversation. She walked over to the bathroom and flushed the toilet, before washing her hands to make the act more convincing.

Skimming down the stairs, she happily skipped into the kitchen.

"Sorry I took so long Jungkook- Oh, hello!" greeted Marina cheerfully, bowing respectfully. She stopped behind Jungkook, slinging an arm around his shoulder from the back.

All three of the males blushed furiously, before mumbling back a greeting.

"You shouldn't let these burn," reprimanded Marina, carefully pulling a tray of brownies out of the oven. "I'm glad I set that timer."

"Called it," whispered Taehyung into Jimin's ear, while watching the woman set the tray down on top of the counter wearing a pair of oven mittens. "You have a lot of explaining to do Kookie."

Jungkook gulped nervously, knowing that his hyungs wouldn't let him off the hook.

"So, let's eat!" said Marina, clasping her hands together. While the men were distracted she had set up two more spots for the newcomers.

"Excuse me miss," started Taehyung shyly. Quite frankly none of the BTS members really had any experience with women around their age, so they were always awkward around them.

"Yeah?" asked Marina, flashing him a small smile. Taehyung blushed lightly, clearing his throat.

"I, uh, my name's Taehyung and this is Jimin, and you are?"

"Ah, right I forgot to introduce myself. Please, call me Sylvi."

"Oh, nice to meet you. If I may, how'd you meet this idiot, it couldn't possibly because of his oozing charisma and charm."

Jungkook quickly whacked Taehyung over the head in embarrassment, mumbling at him to shut it.

"Oh, I'm uh..."

"A maid?"

"My third cousin twice removed."

They both stated simultaneously, before glancing at each other.

"My maid."

"His cousin."

"Eh?" questioned Jimin, fighting back a chuckle at their obvious lies.

"So which one?" asked Taehyung, flashing an adorable box smile.

Marina glanced at Jungkook, who looked away.

"We're just messing around," replied Marina, giving an unsure laugh. "I'm just a friend, who came to visit."

"Right," said Jungkook, smiling nervously.

Luckily Jimin and Taehyung didn't push the matter further, one taking a sip of his drink and the other eating another spoon full of rice.

"Gee, I'd like a friend like you, were can I find myself a beautiful girl who can cook?" Jimin flashed Marina a flirtatious smile, before laughing at how cringe that was.

Jungkook felt a weird feeling arise from the pit of his stomach that was completely unfamiliar. "Good luck."

Now all eyes were on him, as his hyungs eyed him curiously. A knowing smile befell on Jimin's lips, as he silently communicated with Taehyung through eye contact alone.

"Hey Chim, I think that Kookie's jealous..." muttered Taehyung, with over exaggerated bewilderment.

"What? Jealous? I have no reason to be," Jungkook answered in complete denial. He shook his head feverishly, but the gears inside his head started to turn.

"Why would I be?" he asked to himself, glancing over at Marina who had started a conversation with Jimin. And his heart rate sped up unknowingly.
