Ch.3: New Recruits

A few days after the training session. Dakota had approached Hiccup about adding a few more riders to the group to help in the battle against Viggo and Krogan, Hiccup approved the idea and Dakota left to go get these other teens he spoke of.

Hiccup and the gang were in the academy waiting for Dakota to get there, he went to Berserker island to go get Dagur and something else. Hiccup looked to the sky trying to spot his cousin but he didn't see him. He faced the gang and said," Ok since Dakota isn't here we should probably", he was cut off by the screeching of a monstrous nightmare, he saw Dakota and Flame land in the academy when he realized that Dakota wasn't alone. He looked behind his cousin and saw five other people. He immediately recognized one of them because he was sitting on a Triple Stryke, he looked behind Dagur and saw a girl on a baby blue monstrous nightmare, a girl on a silver and teal deadly nadder, a girl on a black and blue deadly nadder, and he was surprised to see a guy on a purple whispering death. Dakota said," Sorry I'm late guys, I was just getting the new recruits and Dagur.", Lakeisha said," Next time please tell me where you're going because I was worried you were in trouble." Dakota said," Babe, I left a note telling you guys what I was doing, I pinned it to the academy wall." Tuffnut said to Ruffnut ," Oh so that was the the paper we set on fire. Dakota face palmed and said," Next time I'm leaving the note in your house Lakeisha so those idiots don't destroy it."

Hiccup looked at the teens and saw Ivy, Coner, and Aliana, they were friends with the gang and were also fellow Berkians, he didn't know the other girl but Heather must have because Heather ran up to her and hugged her. Coner had blonde hair, light skin, was a little tall, had blue eyes, he also had a scar over his eye. Aliana, who was Coner's girlfriend was also tall, had brown hair, hazel colored eyes, and had light skin, Coner and Aliana were both pretty crazy but were deadly serious when it was called for. Ivy had black hair which was in a ponytail, blue eyes, tan skin, was around the same height as Astrid, she wore teal pants that had silver highlights, fingerless gloves, and a teal shirt with silver highlights on it. Ivy loves surprises but could be violent and mean unless she's your friend then she's loyal until her last breath, she is also protective of everyone she knows, she doesn't trust strangers at first until she believes they are a good person.Hiccup asked Dakota," Who is the brown haired girl?", Dakota said," That's Hannah." Hannah who was from Berserker island had hazel colored eyes, brown hair that was in a ponytail, she had an outfit similar to Astrid's but with black leather instead of brown, she also had arm guards like Heather's but they were black, she also had shoulder blades. She was like Astrid and the twins mixed together, she loved pranks, loyal to her friends, enjoys a laugh, protective, and because of Heather, is a major Hiccstrid shipper.

In weapons, Coner used a hammer similar to the one that Thor uses, well Thor and Stoick, it had the same engraving in the side that Stoick's hammer has. Aliana uses a double sided gronckle iron battle axe and a sword. Ivy uses swords exactly like the one Queen Mala of the Defenders of the Wing uses, and a bow and arrows, she was deadly accurate with her bow, just ask Snotlout, it was the only time he ever flirted with her. Hannah uses an axe exactly like Heather's except it can catch on fire like Inferno. Hannah also uses a pair of daggers for a backup plan.

Coner rode a whispering death named Strider. Dakota secretly told Hiccup that he owes Strider because he was the reason him and Lakeisha ended up together. Apparently Strider was the whispering death that nearly killed Dakota, and somehow Coner, with Dakota's help managed to train it. Aliana rode the baby blue monstrous nightmare, whose name was Whiplash. Whiplash was one of the monstrous nightmares that was rescued from the dragon hunters. He had scars on his face from being forced into dragon fights. Aliana and Whiplash have an extremely strong bond. Ivy rode the silver and teal deadly nadder whose name was Kelpi. Hannah rode the black and blue deadly nadder whose name was Blaze.

After introductions Hiccup said," Ok everybody let's go train. The gang and their old and new friends all flew out of the academy to go train. They knew they must be ready for the incoming battle. The riders once again left the academy empty.
