Five days...
I haven't been to school in five days. Minus the weekend. I haven't been feeling in seven days and I sure has hell do not look good.
I haven't had a real conversation with anyone in seven days.I try speaking to them but I can't. Not when they're looking at me like I'm a fragile piece of fine China that has just been broken. They look broken themselves.
Kevin refused to go to school on day one of my stay at home issue. He said that he wasn't going to let us shut him out any longer. He seemed very hurt and so we let him stay. What else could we have done? The boy looked like he was going to break down then and there. He stayed with me in my room the whole day and night. Evan made sure that we didn't see King monster that day.Day three of my stay at home I managed to talk Kevin into going to school. He can't fall behind because of me. And you know how these younger ones start with tests much earlier than us older ones. So he can't miss out on important lessons. Evan didn't leave my side. Unfortunately I saw the bastard that day. He came to my room to tell me that if he finds out that I did indeed steal his money he would hurt me much worse than he did. The liver!
I wish I could just kill him! Just rip his heart out and feed it to homeless dogs!
But I'm not going to waste away in jail becuase of this scumbag.Day five of my stay at home, which is today, is the worst. My phone has been blowing up with text messages and missed calls. I thought that Kevin forgot to tell Trish that I wouldn't be coming to school. She automatically knows why I don't come to school but I guessed that she didn't know. That was until I looked at my phone and I saw that all the texts and missed calls were from Jace. I was hella confused. I just stared at my phone and stared some more as I saw his name pop up on the screen over and over showing that he was calling.
And now here I am, still staring and wondering what I'm going to say if I decide to answer the phone. I don't even know why he is going through the trouble.
I open the texts. Most of them read;
"Hey where are you?"
"Why haven't you been coming to school?"
"Are you okay?"
"Did I do something wrong? Why are you ignoring me?"
"Please tell me you're okay?"
"Okay fine, it's none of my business."
"When are you coming back, I'm bored and I still need help navigating."I mean it's been two weeks! Like who still gets lost after two weeks of being at a new place. A school for crying out loud! Just follow your classmates to class. Oh I forgot he doesn't have class. How is it possible that the school is allowing him to just roam around the school with nothing to do?
After a long time I decide that I can't talk to him so I'll just text him.
[■Kathy■] No need to worry! I'm fine!
{•Jace•} Why did it take you about ten hours to reply to my texts? And I've been calling too.
His reply comes in almost immediately after I sent my reply to him.
[■Kathy■] I was busy. And I've noticed.{•Jace•} What's wrong?
[■Kathy■] Nothing. -_-
{•Jace•} So why have you gone AWOL?
[■Kathy■] I'm sick. The flu and it's contagious.
{•Jace•} Okay...
What does okay mean? Another text comes in.
{•Jace•} I know you're lying to me but I'll let it slide.
