Kathy's P.O.V
At last it's Saturday!
Yaaasss!
I've been waiting for this day soley to catch up on all the sleep that I missed out on during the week. Speaking of the week it's been a terribly long one.
From Monday all through to Friday Jace got me different coloured roses. Why? I had no idea but was I really complaining? I mean yes, I hated the fact that it could cause me unwanted drama with Kimberly and it's drawing some-very much undesired might I add-attention.
But, it always brings a smile to my face and gives me this funny feeling in my stomach that I'm definitely not-which I think is utterly weird and odd of me to feel this way-having a problem with.
Although I have the entire weekend to stay the hell away from that child named Jace Clarke and to process all the events that took place this past week. I could do with some personal, alone time actually. Just me, myself and I time which I always, always, always enjoy.
She is out shopping.
He is at work.
Evan and Kevin went to the gym. Boys! Of course they invited me with and I refused yet again. I don't know why they always do things that they know I don't enjoy at all. I mean yeah I've tried going to watch but that was the worst scenario I could've possibly put myself in because I was so bored I was sure I was going to pass out and just die right then and there. So I just decided to reside in my room with my solitude every chance I get. And now's that time!
My phone rings from my already made bed, for the first time ever on a Saturday morning, and I walk over to it so see that Trisha is calling.
Me: Sweets!
Trish: Yasss gurl!! How you doing biaatch!
Me: I'm doing just fine hoooeee!
We both laugh at our stupidity, which might I add is her influence, loudly.
Trish: So what are today's plans?
Me: Sleep, eat, read and then sleep some more.
Trisha: Oohhh lucky! I need to go to a family meeting at my grans with my mom. Apparently my bestie cousin has a bun in the oven.
Me: Ooohhh that's sad. Tell her I say goooood luckkk pleeeaaase!
Trisha: Will do. Anyway biaatch I was just checking up on you.
Me: I'm all good sweets!
Trisha: Awesome! I'll see you tomorrow maybe or on Monday, boo!
I chuckle at this happy with the fact that this child is always able to cheer me up!
Me: Byyyyeeee hooooooeeeee!!!
Trisha: Bye biaatch!!!
And with that we hang up and I wish I could say that I went back to being silent and content in being home alone.
"Katherine!" He calls from downstairs. Argh! What is he doing home! I sigh heavily and then I quickly make my way downstairs before he gets angry, with my phone in hand and Evan's contact open just in case. At least the gym isn't far from here.
"How can I help you?" I ask with a little sarcasm laced in my voice, unintentionally though. He raises his eyebrows at me and then frowns at me in distaste. Okay girl it's time to put that defiant attitude away before shit gets real, real quick.
