-Skylar's POV-

I just got to Nancy's and I knock on the door waiting for someone to answer then Lisa opens the door.

Hey Lisa I say smiling, hey Skylar, come in she tells me letting me in.

I turn around to see she's closing the door and she looks at me I got this for you I tell her taking out the blue rose from behind my back.

Awe, thank you she says blushing grabbing it from me, no problem I replie smiling a little.

Where's Nancy? I ask, she just went to Nicole's because I guess Nicole has a hair problems or something but she'll be back she replies.

Okay, where's Finn then? I question setting my gutair down and take off my backpack because I got something for him.

His dad picked him up like a hour ago she says, oh, well it's just us I replie while we sit down on the couch.

We sit here in silence and it's not awkward or anything but she speaks up looking at me.

I saw a picture of your sister, she was really pretty she says, yeah, she was I replie.

I remember I went to this gaint rock on the beach we always went to get away sometimes a couple days after her death I continue smiling a little to myself.

( flashback) ( August 25 2011)

I'm on my bed just staring at my broken leg blankly, I sigh getting up grabbing my crunches and head downstairs.

Nobody isn't here so I open the door walking out closing it behind me and start heading to the beach.

I get to the giant rock that Rose and I use to sit on looking at the sunset until the stars came out.

I stare at the ocean with tears forming in my eyes, I take out Rose's necklace she always wore because I gave her it.

It's a heart that opens so I open it up to see on the left of the heart was a picture of her and I when we were little.

On the right side it's a picture of her and I from now, I swollow the lump in my throat with a tear rolling down my cheek while I close it.

I kiss it and I was about to throw it but I stopped and look down at it again.

I can't do it I say to myself, I look back at the ocean Rose! I yell at the top of my lungs then just brust out crying.

I miss her so much I say to myself still crying, I put the neckleace around my neck and continue to look at the ocean sighing.

( end of flashback)

I couldn't do it so.. I just kept it I say holding the necklace in my hand, is that why you always wear it? She questions while I nod.

I haven't tooken it off since while only to shower or whenever I want my neck to breath I replie.

And I have not tooken this off either I continue showing her the bracelet on my left wrist.

( flashback) ( April 4th 2011)

It's my birthday and Rose and I are on the rock here's your last present she tells me handing me a small box.

You didn't have to give me anything else I say looking at it, okay fine, I'll take it back then she replies.

Actually, let me see it I say while she giggles and I grab it, I open it to see a really nice bracelet do you like it? She ask.

I look at her I love it I replie taking it out and hand it to her so she can put it on for me.

She puts it on while I look at it thanks Rosie I tell her using her nickname after she's done, she playfully glares at me you know I don't like it when you call me that she says.

I know but it's my birthday, you can't fight with me I replie smirking, your so lucky I love you she mumbles pulling me into a hug kissing my cheek.

I love you too I replie hugging back.

Seems like you two were close Lisa says, we were and even though we fought a lot and said I hate you to each other but we knew at the end of the day we still love each other I replie staring at the bracelet.

I'm so sorry Skylar she says pulling me into a hug, I hug her back trying not to cry in front of her again.

It's okay, it wasn't your fault I tell her while we pull away, Finn, he reminds me of her all the time I continue chuckling a little.

Is that why you like hanging out with him? She questions while I nod, it feels like I have a little sibling again I replie.

Well, you can take him anytime you want she says laughing while I also laugh.

I remember I almost made her get caught by our parents I say.

(flashback) ( May 5th 2011)

I'm waiting for my toaster waffles to be done then they pop out so I grab them walking to the table sitting down next to Rose.

I grab my waffle and just eat it with my hands slow down Skylar, that's disgusting Rose tells me so I stop and look at her.

Do a lot of studying last night? I question with a mouthful of food, she told us that she was gonna study in her room but I saw a boy she likes sneaking into her room but I didn't say anything.

Yeah, actually I did she replies looking at me then takes a bite out of her eggs, what was your test on again? Human anatomy? I ask her.

She looks at me shock with her eyes wide then I feel her kick me so I kick her back.

Hey, what's going on? Mom questions while we both look at her, nothing we both say in unison then contuine eating.

I grab the syrup bottle and open it and put some on my eggs that's disgusting Rose says.

Your disgusting I replie setting it down glaring at her, okay you two stop fighting dad tells us.

( end of flashback)

Oh my gosh, you actually told her that? She questions laughing, yeah, her face was hilarious I replie also laughing then we hear the door open.

We look to see it's Nancy hey baby she says walking up to me, I stand up and we both hug each other.

Hey I replie while we both pull away, what were you two talking about? She questions while I look at Lisa.

About last night, it was fun Lisa replies, it was fun Nancy says grabbing my hand.

We'll be in my room Nancy tells Lisa dragging me upstairs, leave your door open! Lisa yells to us.

Okay! Nancy yells down when we get to the top and I look down at her and smile while she also smiles back.
