I'm about to walk into the girls locker room to change into my gym clothes for basketball practice.

My teammates stop me what? I question looking at all of them, you have to do the tunnel of love Brandon one of my teammates tells me.

Didn't I already do the tunnel of love when I joined the team? I question confused, yes but you have to do it again Anthony another boy tells me.

I look at Angelo the boy I slammed against the lockers yesterday to see he has his arms crossed smirking at me.

Come on tunnel of love Angelo says still smirking while they get in two lines while another boy pushes me to the start of the line.

Get going Cole tells me pushing me in then they all start pushing me around to the end of the line.

I get to the end and I get turned around and before I know it Angelo punches me in the face.

I fall back into everyone and they catch me setting me down what the fuck!? I yell holding onto my eye.

You shouldn't of threaten me Angelo says walking past me with everyone walking past me.

I didn't even do anything but slam you against the lockers! I yell getting up, well, you shouldn't have done that he replies.

I wouldn't have to do that if you weren't making fun of my girlfriend I tell him while he shrugs walking off.

I groan walking to the locker room and start changing, after I'm done I head out of the school to my school getting in and start it.

I back out and head home leaving Nancy at school because she said she'll tryout for cheerleading so she can cheer for me at a game.

I get home getting out of my car and walk into the house, I walk into the kitchen to see my mom and she looks at me smiling but her smile fades.

What happen? She ask shock, nothing I replie shaking my head.

What happen? She ask rasing her voice a little, basketball practice I say then she grabs my arm and drags me to the door.

Mom, what are you doing? I question while we get to her car getting in, I'm just gonna have a little talk with your couch she replies backing out of the driveway.

We get to my school and walk into the gym mom, please don't I tell her then I see everyone is in here and I see Nancy trying out.

Couch! Mom yells walking up to him still holding my arm, yes, can I help you? He replies.

Yes you can, you have to get your team together because this she tells him grabbing my face and show him my black eye.

It's unacceptable she continues, he looks at me Mrs. Mahone, it's basketball, they get hurt here and there most of the time he tells her looking at me then at my mom.

I look around to see everyone is looking at us do something about your team or I will she tells him piss off.

Come on Skylar she says to me walking off, I sigh looking at everyone then lock eyes with Nancy to see she is giving me a small smile.

Skylar, let's go! Mom yells to me so I sigh again turning around and walk up to my mom heading out of the gym.

We get inside her car and we drive back home, we get to the house and I get out slamming the door.

Skylar mom says also getting out, I can't beileve you did that, in front of everyone! I tell her rasing my voice.

Watch your tone with me she replies, now everyone is gonna pick on me because my mom had to come and say something I say walking off to my car.

Where are you going?! She yells to me, to cool off! I yell back getting in and start it backing out.

I head to Lisa's because she's good at listening, I get to her house getting out and walk up to the door knocking.

She opens the door and looks at me shock Skylar? She questions, hey I replie giving her a small smile.

Nancy isn't here yet she tells me, I know, she's at school still I say.

What happen to your eye? Did your dad do that? She ask kinda getting mad, no, a guy from my basketball team told my teammates that I "threaten" him I replie sitting down on the couch.

What'd you say? She questions also sitting down, he was making fun of Nancy about what happen at the party so I grabbed him by his shirt slamming him in the lockers telling him he better shut up before his face ends up on the other side of his head I tell her.

So just 30 minutes ago they did the tunnle of love with me even though I did it already when I first joined the team and when I got to the end the boy punched me I contuine.

What's the tunnel of love? She questions, it's when someone joins the team everyone needs to be in 2 lines and the new person gets in there so they push the new kid around I replie.

That's a weird thing to do she says, I know but I guess it's been around forever I also say.

So my mom went to my school and told my couch do something about the team in front of everyone, now I'm gonna get picked on I replie.

Well, she shouldn't of done it in front of everyone she says, I sigh looking at her then look at her lips then her eyes again.

I lean in about to kiss her but she stops me by putting her hand on my chest Skylar, don't she tells me.

I sigh looking at the ground I'm sorry I mumble playing with my hands, Skylar, like I said, it's not your fault okay, it's mine she says.

It's not your fault either I tell her, yes it is she replies.

How is it your fault? I question, because I'm the adult, I shouldn't have let it happen, like I said I wasn't thinking clearly she tells me.

I know you felt something because you can't fake something like that I replie, I didn't feel anything Skylar she says getting a little frustrated.

I continue to look at her your scared I say, what? She questions confused.

Your scared of being happy again because of what happen between you and Clayton I tell her.

Your scared that somone will come into your life then something happens and they leave I continue.

She sighs Skylar, I can't be happy with you she tells me, why not?! I question kinda rasing my voice.

Because your my daughters girlfriend! She replies also rasing her voice, it's wrong Skylar, we can't do that again okay she continues lowering her voice.

We both look at each other in silence then the door opens so I quickly get up looking at it to see Nancy walking in.

Hey baby, are you okay? She ask me walking up to me, yeah, I'm okay I replie shrugging a little.

She gives me a small smile then looks at Lisa hi mom she says, hi Nance Lisa replies standing up.

Can we go to my room? She ask her, I don't know, remember what happen last time? She says with her arms crossed.

This time we'll keep the door open, primose she replies, promise I say giving her a small smile.

Okay go but I'll be checking on you two she tells us, okay Nancy replies while grabbing my hand pulling me upstairs.

We get to the top of the stairs and I look down at Lisa smirking then wink at her and I see her blush so I know she does like me.
