-Skylar's POV-

It's the night of the dance and I'm kinda nervous and I don't know why though.

I look at myself one more time and grab my keys, wallet and phone heading out of my room.

I get downstairs okay mom, I'm going I tell her, okay, behave and safe and I love you she replies kissing my cheek.

I love you too and no promises I say smirking opening the door, get out of here she says acting like she's gonna hit me so I quickly close the door laughing.

I get in my car starting it and back out heading to Nancy's, I get to her house and get out closing the door and walk up to the front door knocking.

A few seconds later Finn opens the door hey little buddy I say picking him up.

Hi he replies hugging me so I hug back because we haven't seen each other in a while.

I set him down with Lisa walking up hey Skylar she says giving me a smile, hey Lisa I replie also giving her a smile.

Nancy comes down looking really beautiful hey Nance I say giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek because Finn doesn't know that we are not together so he still thinks we're still together.

Hey Skylar she replies giving me a small smile, um, got you this I tell her taking out a flower.

Thank you she says taking it, she'll be back later I tell Lisa giving her a small smile.

Okay, see you guy's then, have fun she replies, we will and later Finn I tell him closing the door.

We get to my car getting in and I start it backing out you look really beautiful I tell Nancy.

I see her blush a little thank you she replies, you look nice she tells me.

Thanks I replie contuining to drive to the school, we get to school getting out and walk in.

We walk into the gym with music playing and everyone dancing there's Nicole and Matt she says so we walk up to them.

Hey guy's Matt says smiling, hey both Nancy and I replie also smiling.

So, who wants to dance? I ask smirking, yeah, let's dance Matt says while we all walk to dance floor.

We start dancing so I grab Nancy's hand and start dancing with her what are you doing? She questions laughing.

Dancing, what does it look like? I replie chuckling a little spinning her around.

Whoa, I never knew you can dance she says smirking, when I wanna be, I can I replie also smirking.

I'm gonna go get some punch, who wants some? Matt ask us, I'll come with Nancy says about to walk off with him wait, are you sure it's really punch? I question.

Everyone chuckles I hope so Matt replies while they walk off leaving Nicole and I alone.

Look Nicole, I'm sorry- she cuts me off, if Nancy can forgive you and forget then I can too she tells me.

I give her a small smile and I'm sorry for smacking you that hard in the lunch room she contuines.

I chuckle a little it's okay, I deserve it I replie, you are actually not a bad person after all she says and I look at her confused.

When I saw you punch Angelo I knew you cared about Nancy and I she tells me, sticking up for us like that takes balls, especially with a broken wrsit she continues.

I smile I've always cared about you, even thought I don't show it, I do, you're like a sister to me I replie.

Also Nancy and I helped you and Matt out because some of your teammates was gonna get you two so we punched them she says giggling.

I chuckle thanks I say hugging her and she hugs back, awe, look at that, you two finally made up Nancy says giving me my cup.

Yeah, we did Nicole replies looking at me smiling, we all take a sip of our actual punch with the song changing.

( 4 hours later)

We're all talking at a table then of course Hayley walks up hey Skylar, wanna dance? She ask.

I look at Nancy, Nicole and Matt and they nod so I look back at her sure, why not I replie standing up and she smiles and we walk to the dance floor.

We start dancing look Hayley, I like you but not like that, I like somebody else I tell her, okay, I get it she replies.

So are you going to stop with the flirting and everything? I question, she scoffs no, I'm still gonna flirt with you she replies smirking.

I chuckle okay I say while we continuing dancing, after the dance we both hug each other and mine and Nancy's song be your everything by boy's like girl's comes on.

I look at Nancy, Nicole and Matt walking up to them wanna dance? I ask Nancy sticking my hand out for her.

She smiles of course she replies grabbing my hand standing up, we all walk to the middle of the gym.

I wrap my arms around her waist while she wraps her arms around my neck and we start swaying to the music.

She puts her head on my chest while I put my chin on her shoulder while we contuine dancing.

This is nice she says after a few seconds of silence pulling away looking me in the eyes giving me a small smile

It is I replie giving her also giving her a small smile, look Skylar, if you and my mom both like each other then you two should date she tells me.

I look at her shock I just want you two to be happy and if you two are happy together then go for it she continues.

Really? I question confused and she nods, like I said before I'll always love you because you are the first person I've ever been with she replies.

You were my first kiss, my first time and my first love she continues, you're really okay with it? I ask her to make sure I heard her right.

Yes and I know you two have a date tonight she tells me, how'd you know about the date? I question.

She was getting ready while I was, so you can go she replies, I have a stupid smile on my face I love you Nancy I say.

I love you too Skylar she replies kissing me and I kiss back, we pull away hugging each other continuing to dance.

After the dance we pull away tell Nicole and Matt I didn't feel good or tell them it's the punch I tell her.

She chuckles okay, see you later she replies while I take off running, I get outside running up to my car getting in and start it.

I back out and start heading to Lisa's house, I get to her house getting out with a blue rose closing my door.

I walk up to the front door knocking and a few seconds later the door opens to reveal Lisa.

Hi I say giving her a small smile.
