-Nancy's POV-

It's Friday and Skylar hasn't been to school and she still hasn't answered any of my texts or my calls and now I'm really worried about her.

I walk out of the school and walk up to my mom's car getting in still no Skylar? She questions.

No, could we stop at her house to see if she's there? I ask, sure, let's go she replies driving off.

We get to her house her car is here I'll be back I tell her getting out and walk up to the door.

I knock and a few seconds later Skylar's mom answers oh, hello Nancy she says smiling.

Hi um, is Skylar here? I ask, she actually just left 5 minutes ago she tells me.

Do you know where she went? I question, she went to the beach she replies.

Okay, thank you I say giving her a small smile turning around walking back up to the car getting in.

Where is she? Mom questions, her mom said she is at the beach I replie.

Wanna go check? She ask and I nod, we get to the beach parking the car I'll stay in here she tells me.

Okay, be back I replie getting out and start looking around for Skylar, after a few minutes I see her on a cliff.

What the hell? I say to myself running back to the car and get in, found her, she's on that cliff I tell her pointing to her.

What is she doing up there? Mom questions, I don't know but let's go I say while she backs up and drives up to the cliff.

She parks the car and we both get out running up Skylar! I yell and she turns around.

What are you doing? I question, I'm gonna jump she replies with tears going down her cheeks.

What the hell, why? I question, my dad is right, it should have been me that should have died in that accident and not Rose she says.

So I'm giving him what he wants she continues turning back around looking down the cliff.

I look at my mom asking her for help Skylar, don't do this my mom tells her, why not, nobody doesn't even want me here she replies.

-Skylar's POV-

I'm at the beach on a cliff so I can jump off of it, I'm tired of my dad telling me I should die so I'm gonna give him what he wants.

Even Clayton told me I'm no good for Nancy so why would I want to be with someone who's father says I'm no good for their daughter.

Skylar! I hear Nancy yell so I turn around to see her and Lisa, what are you doing? She questions.

I'm gonna jump I replie with tears going down my cheeks, what the hell, why? She questions.

My dad is right, it should have been me that should have died in that accident and not Rose I say.

So I'm giving him what he wants I continue turning back around looking down the cliff to the water moving and I see rocks at the bottom.

Skylar, don't do this I hear Lisa tell me, why not, nobody doesn't even want me here I replie not looking at her.

I look in the conorn of my eye to see her standing next to me I do... also does Nancy, Finn and your mom she tells me.

Do it for your mom, Finn, Nancy, me and if not do it for Rose, she probably won't want you to kill yourself she continues.

I sniff a little with more tear going down my cheek and she grabs my hand come on Skylar, please don't do this she whispers.

I look at her sighing okay I say nodding my head, she pulls me back with her away from the edge.

Nancy runs up to me and wraps her arms around my neck hugging me, I wrap my arms around her hugging her back looking at Lisa.

She gives me a small smile so I give her one back don't scare me like that ever again Nancy says in my ear.

She kisses my cheek then pulls away from me what happen to your hand? Lisa ask me.

I accciently fell down the stairs I replie and she looks at me like I'm lying, you have to be careful baby Nancy tells me.

I know I say, wanna come over? Lisa ask.

Sure I replie while Nancy grabs my hand we walk off, we get to Lisa's car getting in and head back to their house.

We get out of the car and walk in I'm gonna take a quick shower then we'll spend time together okay? Nancy tells me while I nod and she goes upstairs.

I sit down on the couch with Lisa and it's silent then she speaks up what did Clayton tell you the day he came over? Lisa ask me.

I look at her nothing I replie, Skylar she says warning me giving me the look my mom gives me.

I sigh he said I'm no good for Nancy, that I'm only using her for sex and that she deserves someone way better than me and that I'm a freak I say.

Is that why you left that day? She questions, yes, he made me so piss so I went home I replie.

Skylar, you are good for Nancy, she really likes you and I see that, don't listen to him okay? She tells me and I nod my head yes.

How did you really break your hand? She ask, and don't say you fell down the stairs she continues.

Well, I didn't fall, I got thrown down the stairs I tell her, your dad? She questions a little piss and I nod.

You know what I'm sorry Skylar but I have to call the cops, this is getting to bad she tells me standing up and walks into the kitchen.

No Lisa, please don't I beg her also getting up following her, Skylar, listen to me, he threw you down the stairs for crying out she says grabbing her phone.

I was piss off that he punches you and everything but this takes the cake she continues putting her phone to her ear.

Um yes, I want to make report about someone abusing a minor she says into the phone.

What's your dad's name? She ask me, Lisa please I beg while she gives me the look.

I sigh Lucas Mahone I mumble looking at the ground, his name is Lucas Mahone, he's abusing his daughter Skylar Mahone and their address is *Skylar's address* she says.

Okay, thank you she says again hanging up the phone, she said they'll be at your house in 15 minutes she tells me.

Lisa, what the hell?! I say kinda raising my voice, I'm sorry Skylar but I had too, I can't just sit around knowing he's hurting you and your mom she replies being calm.

If he goes that far by throwing you down the stairs and calling you mean things and tells you it should have been you and not your sister, what else would he do, something way worse she continues.

What the fuck! I yell piss then turn around running out of the kitchen, Skylar! I hear Lisa yell to me while I open the front door.

I ignore her and run off to my house which is 15 minute walk from here, Skylar! I hear Lisa yell to me but I keep running down the street.
