chapter 3

i next day i woke up with the sun shining in my face. i checked the time and it was 5:30. i groaned because it was really 2:30 in mass. i was exhausted and i dragged myself out of bed. sense it was 90 degrees already i grabbed black high waisted shorts and a daisy crop top with black vans. i put mascara and eyeliner on and braided my hair. i ran downstairs with my bag and sat at the breakfast bar grabbed cereal and coffee. i ate quickly and my dad hurried me out the door. it was already 6:45. once we got to the school i went to the office.

"how may i help you hun?"

"uh well im the new student here"

"ah aubrey right?"

"yeah"

i gave her a slight smile, she handed me a schedule and ushered me to my first class. she complimented my outfit in the hallway which i thought was weird. i got into the classroom and everyone turned and looked at me. they were all on there phones and talking while the teacher was on her laptop. the lady walked me over to the teacher, i looked back and saw everyone staring.

"hi mrs ferris, this is aubrey your new student, aubrey"

she shook my hand and smiled at me. suddenly the office lady left and the teacher was getting the classes attention.

"class settle down!"

once everyone was silent she spoke up

"this is your new student aubrey, would anyone like to shadow her today and show her around"

"id love too mrs ferris"

a curly haired boy got up, he was cute. really cute actually. but i wasnt gonna be easy for him to get me. ill play hard to get. but yet again i still love brandon. he walked up to me and smiled at me, all the boys clapped and whistled. he had a cheeky grin and held out his hand.

"im harry, and you?"

"aubrey"

i shook his hand

"your absolutely stunning by the way"

i rolled my eyes and laughed

"ah a little stubborn eh?"

"you bet"

"here you can come sit with me and ill introduce you to my friends."

i walked over and sat. there were a couple of girls on the opposite of the room whispering and talking about me. its normal for a new girl but i dont know it got me bummed. harry seemed to notice

"whats wrong?"

all of his friends starred at me, i looked down because i was uncomfortable. everyone kept staring.

"jeez guys give her a break its her first day and your staring at her like she has twelve heads"

they all laughed and began to fool around again. harry turned to me and lifted up my head.

"but seriously, why you so bummed out? you nervous?"

"its nothing"

"its those girls isnt it"

i looked at him and he sighed

"hey if you two have something to say then say it to my face!"

the girls looked mortified but lovestruck at the same time

"i take it there madly in love with you?"

"haha very funny"

"im not kidding, the way they looked at you said it all"

the bell rang. i got up and harry grabbed my schedule.

"ah you have mr travis first, hes cool but a pervert. hes right down the hall. here follow me"

a pervert? already?

i followed him to a huge classrooom. it looked like a science room. great i have science first. i hate science. i got alot of looks from people.

"are you super popular? because everyones looking at me like i shouldnt be in a five foot radius of me"

"people say i am, dont worry about them"

we talked to the teacher and we sat at one of the lab tables with two girls and another boy.

"aubrey this is emily, hannah, and dylan"

i smiled and said hi and they said it back but they gave me the cold shoulder.

"jeez"

i said under my breath, the teacher kept looking me up and down and smirking and i started to feel uncomfortable. i grabbed a cardigan i kept in my bag and put it on. once everyone was working on a paper, he came over to me and knelt down a whispered in my ear.

"arent you hot? take the sweater off if you are"

my eyes widened

"she put the sweater on because she wanted to, now leave her alone you creep"

"whats that styles?"

"i said leave her alone"

the teacher gritted his teeth and stormed to his desk.

"you didnt have to do that"

"but i did"

"well you shouldnt of"

i finished the paper in 5 minutes sense i already leaned this stuff.

"your done?"

"yeah i already learned this"

"no talking."

he noticed i wasnt doing anything

"done so early?"

"yeah"

"how come?"

"i already learned this"

"oh okay well i have extra work you can do"

"ill pass"

the bell rang before he could say anything, i almost sprinted out of that class.

"you have ela next, your in my class for this too. she's really nice i think you'll like her"

"okay thank the lord"

soon enough it was lunch. harry went to go talk to his friends so i bought my lunch and sat at my own table. we were aloud to use our phones i guess so i went on my phone and saw harry added his contact in my phone, i went on instagram and began to eat my lunch. someone sat next to me i looked over and saw harry. he grinned.

"why arent you sitting with your friends?"

i asked, he crinkled his eyebrows.

"but you are my friend"

"i am?"

"no i just offered to walk you around the school and stuck up for you twice, no i totally hate you"

"your such a jerk"

we both laughed hysterically and then a ton of people came over, none i knew. as for harry he knew everyone or everyone knew him.
