chapter 16

hannahs POV:

we finally arrived at the movies. we were going to see 22 jump street and im so excited because ive been waiting for this movie for forever. we got put tickets. sean payed for all of the expenses even though i told him i could pay. he insisted. we got popcorn candy and slushies. we got a seat and the movie began.

in the middle of the movie sean grabbed my hand. i felt sparks run through my body. dont get me wrong ive kissed many guys before but sean felt different. maybe he was the one, but its too early to tell.

once the movie ended me and sean went to the car and held hands all the way there. he opened my door for me then got in the drivers side.

the car ride was quiet, but nice. once we pulled up to my house he walked me to my door.

"you dont know how long ive been waiting for this moment hannah"

i blushed and he kissed me.

the next day sean had his big football game. he really wanted me to go to it, also harry's on the team so im sure aubrey will be there. im pretty sure she's a cheerleader too. i here she was a cheerleader at her old school. im pretty sure emily said she played lax, and field hockey. she said she loved dance the most. cheering was just for her flexibility, and lax & field hockey she's played ever sense she was a kid. i got dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt and i headed off to the game. i saw aubrey on the field talking to victoria. i walked up to them.

"aubrey i didnt know you cheered? or knew victoria"

"oh yeah i do cheer, i always have. and yeah i do"

she smiled at me, i walked away and met up with emily. i noticed sean staring and me and he waved. i waved back.

"hannah how come your here? you never go to these type of things!"

"oh well my boyfriends here so i decided to go"

"who? sean?"

"who else dylan"

our friend ali walked over.

"guys did you see aubrey? i didnt know she cheered!"

"same"

"everyones beginning to like her now! we have to stop this. me and dylan already made a plan"

"guys i dont-"

"shush emily, okay so we'll spread rumors about her and it'll ruin her!"

"no, were not gonna do that guys! she doesnt deserve it"

emily spat out agitated

"jeez emily whats up with you"

"we dont always have to be jerks to everyone! god you guys are so cruel to people!"

"emily i thought you were jealous of her? i mean i am. shes taking our spotlight!"

"ali do you realize what were turning into? bullies! we pick on random people just because we feel like it! i hate that okay? i wanna be popular for a good reason."

we just ended the conversation there. the game started. emily met up with another group of friends and me dylan and ali walked around.

"whats emilys problem?"

it was quiet for a minute then i spoke it

"she has a point"

"were not bullies!"

"think about it ali. we kinda are"

i decided to sit with one of my friends sarah, and leave ali and dylan. we watched the game until it ended. the boys won and i was really proud because they worked really hard to win. sean was at the sidelines and he ran up to me. we kissed

"lets make a deal"

he blurted

"okay what?"

"now that ive won this game, you have to go to prom with me"

"deal."
