Chapter 16

"Tell me where you are taking me Kendall!", I said as Kendall shook his head.

"Like I would tell you", he said giving me one of his daring smiles.

"You sir, are one meanie butt", I said as he just shook it off.

By now we had been in the car for about two days. It's been nostop driving. Kendall looked really tired but he kept himself awake with Redbull. I myself stayed awake just to make sure we didn't die. That idea just clung to my mind and kept me up.

"Why don't you tell me?", I asked letting my eyes go wide.

"Because we are here. Welcome back Dilan", he said pointing to the familiar PalmWoods sign. He pulled to a stop as I stared at him.

"Kendall, take me home", I said as my voice cracked. I was then, terrified.. he shook his head.

"No. See, my mom already said that you can stay with us. While I was with you, the guys had locks installed on ALL the doors and windows in the apartment. Let's not forget the windows being replaced with that nonbreakable stuff. Then, no matter what, one of us will be with you at all times. Gustavo already said if we have to go record, you can come", Kendall said taking my hands,"Dy. Please. I promise you'll be safe. I can't loose you again." I looked at him and saw one tear roll down his face.

"Are you gonna unlock the door?", I said smiling. He nodded, turning beck to his door. Now how the hell is this going to work.

I slowly walked into the PalmWoods. Kendall was carrying my bag. Yet I had my notebook in tow. Everything looked the same except for one little detail.

"Where is Lightning?", I asked as Kendall lowered his head.

"I don't know why, but when you left, he just seemed to die. I mean like hi talent died off. His dog smile was gone, and he lost his glasses. Did you know he has one brown and and one blue? Anyways since he...... you know, he wasn't getting any jobs. So his owners took him back to Colorado", he said still looking down,"I told you Dy, nobody can live without you here." I just looked at him.

"Oh", I finally said as Kendall pushed the button of the elevator.

"Yeah", he said as we stepped in. He slowly pushed the"two" button as we stood in silence. He looked at me as the doors seemed to close slower then usual.

"What are you....", I started as he crashed his lips into mine. I heard loud booms in the back of my mind. Yes, the fireworks had started, and I wisher that they came slower. I heard a ding as we kept going.

"OH OH OH-OH OH!", I heard someone sing. I quickly backed away from Kendall. His eyes seemed to have sparks of anger in them. I looked at Carlos and Logan, both looking disgusted. There there was James. He looked really hurt. I mean I know that he didn't want Kendall and I together. But he looked like he was struggling with something. Like a want or a decision. Kendall just shook it off and pushed past the guys.

"Shut up guys. It was just a kiss", I said hurrying into the apartment after Kendall.

"More like sec in the elevator!", Carlos yelled as I felt my face go pink.

"Come one, let me show you where you will be staying?, Kendall said opening a door.

The room wasn't very large. It had one bed, and a bathroom connected to it. The weird thing was that there were hockey trophies all over the place.

"Kendall, is this your room?", I asked while he nodded.

"We didn't have another room in the apartment. So I volenteered to let you stay in mine", he said smiling.

"Where are you staying?", I asked now really confused.

"You know how I said no matter what one of us will be with you", he said as I nodded. He threw himself back on his bed,"well I'll be staying the night shift. Right here, next to you." I smiled. I feel like he cared about me a lot more then I knew.

'Why me?", I asked laying myself next to him.

"Why you.... what?", Kendall said.

"Why do you care so much about me. Why not someone else?", I said as I felt his arms drape around my shoulders.

"Because your just different", he said as I sat up and looked at him, cocking my head.

"Detail?", I said.

"The way you look at me makes me melt. I always want you in my arms, no way for you to get hurt. Your beautiful, funny, slat, athletic. I love you Dilan", he said taking my hands. I just stared at him.

"I love you too", I said as he pecked my cheek,"but..." He then looked at me confused.

"But what?", he said.

"Your fine with one bed, us sleeping together?", I said sarcastically worried. He smiled.

"Smart ass", he said as we both layed back down. I turned my head to smile at him.

"I'm gonna get some sleep. It's been a long couple of days. Wake me up at like five thirty", I said as he nodded.

"Yeah, same here. I love you", he said pulling me into his arms. I slowly put my head on his chest. It moved slowly as he breathed.

"I love you too", I said as my eyes finally closed.

2nd hour exam done and one more chapter typed! Yay! This better get me over 1000 reads! Please guys?
