Chapter 26

"Black or gold?", Dy asked holding up her bathing suits.

"Black", I said pointing at the black bikini that had little blue dots on it.

"Okay, give me a minuet", she said closing the bathroom door.

"Can I come in?", I called as I heard a disgusted noise come from the other side of the door.

"No!", she yelled. I sighed, loud enough for her to hear me.

Moments after the sigh, she stepped out of the bathroom, looking as gorgeous as ever.

"Good?", she asked turning around. I stood up to examine her. I got closer as I ran my fingers through her pony tail.

"No", I said as she gave me a weird look. I took the bands out of her hair. I threw them to the floor, then smoothed back her hair to make her look even better.

"Perfect", I whispered before kissing her. I yet again felt a smile form on her lips.

Moments later wwe pulled away, smiling at idiots at each other.

"I liked that", I finally said. I saw Dy's cheeks pinken a little.

"Maybe we should do it some more later?", she asked as we walked out the door.

"Definitely, but after we..... talk", I said as she nodded.

"But for now, LET'S GO SWIM!", she said racing down the steps. I ran after her, laughing the whole time. I love how she could be the maturest person of our friends. Yet at times, she can just go crazy. Well, that's Dilan for you. I opened the door at the bottom of the steps to find her waiting for me.

"I wanted to be nice and wait for you", she said smiling.

"You want to get on my back.... don't you?", I asked as she let her eyes go big.

"Please?", she begged. I nodded as she let out a quiet squeal or something. She jumped on my back, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I love you", she whispered into my ear.

"I love you too", I said as I ran to the pool.

"Woo HOO!", Dy screamed as I jumped into the deep end.

We surfaced, and just hovered in the water

Looking at each other.

"I feel like a fish", she finally said. I cocked my head at her and started laughing.

"Why?", I said between my laughter.

"Because I can do this!", she went underwater and did three back flips in a row,"I'm NEVER that flexible unless I'm in the water!" She came back over to me and smiled.

"May I?", I said. She nodded as my hands went to her bare waist. We looked at each other. I smiled, and right before Dilan could get a full smile one her face...... I dunked he underwater. She came back up instantly with a pissed off look on her face.

"WHY!", she said as I started laughing.

"You should have seen your face!", I sputtered out as I laughed. She crossed her arms as I caught my breath.

"Done now?", she said sounding irritated.

"Yes, and I'm sorry. I know you don't like to be surprised", I said as we both swam to the side of the pool. I got out.

"Help?", Dy said holding her arms out. She can be so lazy. I grabbed her hands, and pulled her out of the pool. When her feet were planted, I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Your welcome", I said kissing her forehead. She blushed and rolled her eyes.

"Thank you", she said as she rolled her eyes again,"now could you hand me my towel? It's a little cold." I nodded and wrapped a towel around her shoulders. She smiled as I wrapped one around my own.

"You want to go back to the room?", I said as she nodded. We put the towels in the hamper.

"Can um, we take the elevator?", she said as I shrugged.

"Sure, anything you want Dy", I said pressing the up button. As the door opened, I laced my fingers with Dy's.

It had been a week. Now it's all up to Dy. I mean, I think she liked us dating, but I can't read my mind.

Eventually, we got back to the room. I opened the door as Dy and I walked in. I'm glad we had the privacy to talk. But the silence brought out the issues even more. Dy went to go change as I did as well.

"Kendall?", Dy finally said coming out of the bathroom. She was wearing sweat pants and a tank top.

"Yeah?", I said laying on our bed. She came over and layed next to me. I turned on my side to look at her.

"Can we talk?", she said sitting up. I did the same and took her hands.

"Totally", I said with a hopeful smile.
