★Kendall's POV★

I had just said it. Holy shit. That was a lot easier then I thought it would be. Her eyes widened as I pulled the ring out of my pocket. Yes, it was just a mood ring from the dollar store. But, it still meant something if it was on her hand. I held it out to her as she just stared at it.

"Kendall, you don't know how much I want to say yes", she said. I could hear in her voice that she was fighting back the tears.

"Then say it", I said getting off my knee.

"I... I just can't Kendall", she said finally letting all the tears flow.

"What?", I said. I took her hands,"did I do something wrong?" She shook her head.

"No. Not at alall.... it's just", she started. She looked right in the eyes,"Kendall, there are things about me that you don't know yet."

"Then tell me know", I said,"won't that fix everything?" She shook her head.

"I wish it did. But what I haven't told you, nobody knows. Not even Fauna. I can't just say it Kendall. I'm not ready to admit to my mistakes", she said. I brought her into a hug.

"She keeps a lot more from you then you think", Adam's voice rang in my head. Dilan squeezed me tighter.

"I'm sorry Kendall", she said. She pulled away from me as I tried to look her back in the eyes. I was successful but it hurt so much to see her eyes a neon blue from her crying.

"Does this mean we're over?", I said feeling my eyes widen.

"Not at all", she said,"can I see the ring?"

"Of course", I said handing it to her. She took off the necklace and put the ring on the càin. It slid right next to my grandmother's ring.

"Kendall, I promise that once I am ready to tell you that I will. Once I do, I will marry you. I promise", she said clasping the necklace around herself again. I smiled.

"I love you", I said hugging her again. I kissed her forehead as she wiped away her tears.

"I love you too", she said. We parted, not letting our hands leave eachother.

"You necklace looks beautiful under the moonlight. It almost looks as beautiful as you", I said as she smiled.

"Thanks", she said. I pulled her closer to me as our eyes locked. She smiled as I did the same.

"Kendall?", she asked.

"Yeah?", I said.

"Just kiss me already", she said. I nodded as our lips met. Her hands went to my neck as my arms went to her waist. Somehow, while we were kissing, I picked her up and her legs went around my waist. We pulled away, her still literally in my arms.

"Kendall...... I'm hungry", she whined. I set her down

"Well, we have an entire orchard to ourselves. Where do you want to start?", I said taking her hands. From that we hung out in the orchard, and talked like we used to before we were dating. Well, there was a kiss to two more then before we stsrted dating. Finally, before we were about to leave, Dy and I just layed on our blanket and looked at the stars.

"Kendall?", she said aas I turned to her.

"Yeah baby?", I said. She nuzzled into me as my other arm went around her.
