Chapter 45

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons were just like normal. On Wednesday and Friday, Gustavo had us practice and run...... ALOT. But it was worth it. I mean the tour is almost here! How could you not push yourself when you have the tour as your goal? Then Thursday was another therapy session. Jarod was there again. He did most of the work though. Megan's just watched and corrected him if he did something wrong. But the wordy thing, at times I could just feel my face go red. Then Jarod's was just visible. But anyway... what really happened was on Friday, the day before we left.

"So how was that work out for you?", James said as we came back into the studio from a mile run.

"Fine", I said.

"And your leg?", Kendall asked.

"Perfect", I said as Kendall started fishing around in his pocket.

"Oh yeah", he said bringing something out,"I found this. I thought you would wear it?" He pulled the necklace he had given me out.

"Kendall, I am so sorry. I put it in my drawer before..... I left with Justin. I must have forgotten about it. I am so sorry", I said.

"It's fine, here let me put it back on then", he said putting the chain on my neck. I smiled as the small ring fell on my chest. It felt as if it had been there the whole time.

"Thanks", I said.

"That means we're still up for tonight?", he asked sounding very excited. I wonder what he has planned.

"Of course Kendall...... why would I cancel on you?", I asked.

"You have done crazier things. But hey, I am going to hang out with tthe guys for a but before we go. So meet me in the lobby at..... eight thirty?", he asked.

"Sounds perfect", I said. We went back to our apartment. For some reason, Kendall grabbed his duffle before going over to the guy's apartment. It actually seemed to have stuff in it, weird.

After Kendall left, I started feeling a little lonely. So I picked up the phone and called who else? My sister.

"Hello?", she said as there was muttering of the guys behind her.

"Fauna, if you're messing around with all four of them...... you are in sooo much trouble", I said as we both laughed,"hey."

"Hey", she said,"what's up?"

"I can't believe I'm asking you this but....... do you want to help me get ready?", I asked as there was a susudden pounding on my door.

"Dy, open your door", she said through the phone. I laughed as I opened the door to ssee my excited sister.

"I take that as a yes?", I asked as she quickly nodded her head.

"Come on then!", she said pulling me into mine and Kendall's room. After getting changed, Fauna spent like an hour just brushing out my hair. We decided just to leave it down because I knew Kendall liked it that way. Fauna looked at thee room, then her eyes lit up. She took the flower clip out of her hair, and put it in mine. It was tthe same green as the green of my shirt, so it matched pretty well.

"ERMAGERD! You're late!", Fauna said pushing me out the door,"If anything goes wrong, just kiss him!" I laughed and made my way down to the lobby. I smiled as soon as I saw Kendall in the lobby. He was wearing his signature red plaid shirt, the beanie I gave him, and he was holding his guitar. Tonight was going to be fun. Kendall saw me and his eyes got big. I put on a little smile, pushed my hair behind my ear and looked down slightly. I had learned that from my sister. She did it any time a guy she liked looked aat her the way Kendall looked at me. So she did it almost every day. I felt him come up to me and take my hand with the hand that wasn't holding his guitar.
