High school AU

Aelin P.O.V
I'm so done with high school. All the boys in this school do is fight in the hallways and throw food at each other in cafeteria. I mean can't their just me one decent guy! Don't even get me started about the teachers. I was homeschooled before I came to high school. I learned all the subjects I am learning in secondary five in grade five. Along with many other skills like being an assassin.
"Hey Aelin!"
"Hey Lysandra, Aedion."
Lys and Aedion are dating and they are an adorable couple. I totally ship them!
"So cousin, me and Lys are going to eat in the cafeteria. I found the perfect spot where we won't get hit with flying food. Are you coming?"
"Sure I'll tag along."
We walked into the cafeteria, which always smelled weird and went to sit all the way at the back left, in the corner. That way we could only get hit by food coming from two sides. Two tables away from me a bunch of jocks were singing Happy Birthday to one of their friends.
"Happy Birthday dear Rowan, Happy Birthday to you."
So it was this Rowan's birthday. I think he is in my chemistry class, and physics. I didn't know he was a jock. Oh shit I just remembered on a jocks birthday the whole cafeteria gets into a food fight.
"Guys we have to leave now. Like right now!"
"Why Aelin what's wrong?"
"It's that guys Rowan's birthday. The cafeteria will get into a giant food fight."
"Oh shit. Come on Lys I don't want to get food in my golden locks."
"Oh Aedion your such a girl but yeah we need to get out of here."
As we were walking out of the caf. I got hit in the head by a piece of tangerine. I turned around and saw that Rowan was looking at me smiling holding a tangerine.
"Come on Aelin, he's not even worth it."
No way I was letting him get away with hitting me with a tangerine. I pick up the piece of tangerine, walked over to him and his friends. I leaned in close to his ear and whispered
"I think this belongs to you."
I slid the tangerine into his hand.

Rowan P.O.V
I'm so stupid! Why would I throw the tangerine at her? It's like i couldn't control myself she is just so pretty. I have been watching her in every class I have with her. She is so smart, so funny, so sassy. But she would never go for a guy like me especially since I just threw a tangerine at her. I know I will befriend her cousin and get to her threw him!
