Does Fenrys never shut up? He has been boasting about the amount of women and men he has slept with for the past twenty minutes. Lysandra and Aedion would jump into the conversation and say that they have obviously slept more people than he has. I don't doubt that but he has been alive for hundreds of years. Rowan the entire time was silent. He was just camly drinking water from his cup. I cleared my throat.
"How many women have you slept with Rowan?"
Rowan spit out his water and started choking. Everybody went quite.
"Is this really the most appropriate question for the dinner table?"
"Well everybody else was talking about it so... What's the problem?"
I leaned forwards.
Fenrys started laughing.
"I have been Rowan's friend and wingman for so long. If any body can give you an answer it's me."
Everyone turned to face Fenrys.
"Fenrys I swear on Mala you say one word and I will personally beat you senseless and then freeze your balls off."
Fenrys turned to face Rowan and then turned to face me.
"Actually I mispoke. Lorcan knows the specific number."
"Don't look at me. All me and Rowan did is level a city."
I looked back at Rowan.
"This is getting ridiculous. Just tell me Rowan."
"I can't really give you a specific number."
"Is it in the tens, hundreds or thousands?"
"A... maybe a couple hundred."
"How many is a couple?"
"I don't know Aelin. Do you want me to write you a list!"
"Ok Ok fine fine. Have you ever slept with a man?"
"What are these questions Aelin?"
"I'm curious."
"Yes I have slept with men."
Fenrys and Aedion leaned forwards. Aedion grinned.
"You just got a whole lot more interesting."
Rowan got up and walked it of the dinning room. I glared at Aedion. He just shrugged and went back to talking to Lysandra.
