Aelin P.O.V
"Manon thank Mala your here. I need a good sparing partner."
Everybody who heard me say that was insulted.
"Ok Aelin let's spar. It's been a while since I kicked ass."
She flash me a grin.

"Before we start let's establish some ground rules."
Manon laughed at the word rules.
"Last time I checked Aelin there was never this much talking before a fight."
"Then you've had some pretty boring fights. Rule 1: nothing to the face. Rule 2: I can use fire but only to make weapons since you already have some. That's it. First one to draw blood."
"That's too easy. First one unconscious."
"I have queenly duties to attend to. You too I bet. The queen of witches. All witches."
"Fine until supper."
"Dinners at sun down."
It was almost sun down. I'd say in a couple of hours.
"Ok let's start."

Aedion P.O.V
This fight was brutal. I came to watch it because half the castle is watching it. Aelin is bleeding Manon is bleeding. It's ridiculous. Aelin kicked Manon in the face and Manon just smiled and spit out blue blood. Apparently they've been sparing for a couple of hours. The sun's about to go down which means supper. Thank Mala. I'm hungry just looking at them fight.
"Manon, Aelin! It's supper time!"
They both stopped and turned to face me. They nodded and turned back to face each other. They smiled and Aelin put her arm through Manon's. They started walking towards the castle.

Aelin P.O.V
I passed my arm through Manon's and we started walking.
"Thanks for the spar Manon."
I was breathless. Those couple of hours passed in a flash. I looked over Manon's wounds and then I looked over my own. They were about even.
"Hey Aelin."
"Yeah Manon."
"The last time we fought against each other Rowan got shot with an arrow and I almost died."
"Your point."
"That was a good fight."
She smiled and. I smiled. It was a good fight.
