I walked into Midtown High School of science and technology, my new life for the next three years. I looked around, it had been a while since I went to a public school, and it was never a giant building like the high school was.

I was on my way to what I thought was the office, and when I turned the corner I bumped into someone, "I'm so sorry," I looked up to see a boy with brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. I'll admit he was kinda cute.
He knew exactly where I needed to be so he pointed down the hall. I looked down past him and saw a small sign that read, 'Main Office".

"Oh," I giggle walking past him to the office.
(Time Skip to Lunch)

I looked down at my schedule, Calculus: Check, English: Check, next on the agenda, Lunch. I thought to myself.

I looked for a place to sit, I see the boy from earlier. I saw him and what I assumed was his friend, looking at someone. I turned and saw a girl hang up a homecoming poster covering up the cafeteria's clock.

I walked over to the boys and pulled out a granola bar, "Girlfriend?" I interject.

"He wishes," His friend says.

"No," The first boy said.

Another voice interjects, a boy with tan skin and black curly hair, "Yeah, too bad you can't even talk to her. Isn't that right, Penis Parker?" Then he just left.
Is his name actually, Penis Parker? "Do your parents hate you?"
"What? No. Why would you think that?" Parker says.
"Well they named you, Penis." I whisper-shouted.
"No they didn't! That's just what Flash calls me to try to bother me." He defended his parents (it's bad to speak ill of the dead).
"Oh. So what did your parents name you?"
"Peter." He paused, "Parker."
I looked to the other boy next to Peter, "What's your name?"
"Ned, Ned Leeds." He replied.
"Well, Peter and Ned," I nod to both of them when I said their names, "Bye now."

"What? You didn't eat anything though," Peter says.

"Don't worry, Pumpkin. I'll be fine." I said opening my granola bar from earlier.

I turned to leave, but when I did, I heard footsteps coming towards me, something taps my shoulder, "I-I'm sorry, but I didn't catch your name." It was Peter.
"(Y/N),"
"(Y/N)?"
"Yep, unless you already know a (Y/N)."
(Time Skip to next class)
I walk into Chemistry and see Peter in there, I sit next to him and wave.
"Hi." He whispers.
The Chemistry teacher gets up, introduces herself, and then begins roll call.
I zone out before she calls my name.
"Peter?" Mrs. Jones calls.
Peter begins to raise his hand, when I speak up, "Which one?"
"Um, Legend. Peter Legend." The class looks around confused.
I clear my throat and she does the same before corrects herself, "Oops, sorry (Y/N) wrong row. (Y/N) Legend."
I raise my hand, "Here."
"Peter?" Mrs. Jones says again.
"Here," He raises his hand.
(Time Skip to end of school)
I sigh as the final bell rings, signaling freedom for all of the students.
I stand up from my desk, walk out of the room and head towards my locker. I see Peter and Ned so I decide to ask them for help finding my locker.
Ned had a lego Darth Sideous in his hand while talking to Peter as I approach.
"Hey can you two help me out?" I ask their heads turning towards me.
"Sure, with what?" Peter responds.
"I can't find my locker." I blush a light shade of pink, I was embarrassed to ask for help with such a simple task.
"113 B" He points to the locker right next to his.
"Thanks," My cheeks go darker for some unknown reason.
He nods closing his locker but he doesn't walk away, he waits for me.
After getting and putting the things that I needed to put in my locker I close it.
Ned was quiet, and so I asked Peter a question, "Hey, Peter who do you like?"
"Well I like Ned an-" I cut him off.
"No, who's that girl you have a crush on?" I clarify.
"No one."
He walks away and Ned starts to ask Peter about going to his house later to build a Lego Death Star and Peter just nods, looking at something up ahead, I step forward a bit and follow his line of sight to Liz. Then, I look back at his eyes, they have a sense of love and hope in them.
I tap Peter's shoulder pulling him out of his daze with Liz.
"Don't worry Pete, I'll help you."
"With what?"
"I'm going to help you get the girl."
Peter still looks confused.
"I'll be your wing-man."
Ned interjects, "Hey! He's already got one of those!"
"Who?" I ask Ned, who is now clearly offended.
"Me, duh, who else?" Ned replies.
"Fine. Peter, I will be your wing-woman."
"What's a 'wing-woman'?" Peter asks.
"It's like a wing-man but, like, a million times better." I start.
"Why is that?" Ned intervines.
"Because a wing-woman is, well, a girl."
"So?"
"So, since I am a girl, I can help the guy," I gesture towards Peter, "To get the girl."
"That still doesn't prove anything." Ned says.
"I think like a girl, I know what girls like, I know what girls dislike, and I know what girls look for in guys."
Peter turns around, "Ned, I love ya, buddy, but she has a point."
I smile and Ned shrugs and whispers to me, "Being Peter's wing-man, was very hard."
"It can't be that bad." I whisper back.
"Fine, get him a date for homecoming, in a few weeks. Good luck." Ned slides past us and out of the school.
I look at Peter, "Give me your contact info."
"Give?"
"Can I please get your contact info?"
"Why?"
"Peter, getting a new wing-woman is weird at first because you have a girl that will need to learn a lot about you."
"Why is that weird?" Peter pulls out a peice of notebook paper and begins to write down his contact info.
"Peter, can I be frank?" (Sure Frank, I'm Yizzybear the author;))
"Sure?" He looks a little worried about what I'm about to say.
"A wing-woman has to, well, er, become obsessed, in a way, with the guy."
"Wait. So you're obsessed with me?"
My face is bright red, again, "N-no. Peter it's not a 'creepy stalker' obsession. It's like getting 'a new best friend that learns all about you, in a short amount of time' obsession."
"I get it." Peter nods, probably trying to make me feel better. Peter looks at his watch, "Oh shoot. I gotta run to catch the subway. Bye."
"I'll text ya, bye!" I shout as he exits.
During my walk home, I think:
Being Peter's wing-woman can't be that bad. I mean he's smart, sorta tall, and he's kinda cute. I shouldn't start to wing-woman just yet. I mean I met him today and found out his name like three hours ago- (smells french fries) Mmm... I should stop for fries.
