~~~After School And Homework The Next Day~~~
I changed into a white shirt, and a black skirt that had suspenders on it. I brushed through my hair, put it up into a messy bun, grabbed my small black backpack, and on my way out I glanced at the mirror making sure I looked okay. I had my hand on the door when my dad, Tony called for me at the other end of the hallway.
"(Y/N)? Where you going?" He called.
"To a friend's."
"Who's?"
I knew that he would freak out if I told him that I was going to a boy's house, no matter the reason I wouldn't be allowed to go.
"Vinnie's." Vinnie and I went to the same private elementry and middle schools. She was the one to keep me sane all those years of romance, drama, and 'tragedies'. She the only one besides the avengers and my father, of corse, that knows who I really am. She knows that I'm a Stark. It als helps tha I know that in one text I could get her to cover for me. I don't know if I should be proud, worried, or completely okay with the fact that her acting and lying is fanatstic. She says that I don't have anything to worry about when it comes to her. But the person or people that hurt or threaten me, well, she says, that they have everything to fear.
"Oh. I'll call Happy." He says putting his hand in his pocket to get is phone.
"It's okay, I was actually hoping to ride the subway train."
"Honey, that's too dangerous."
"Then can Nat drive me?"
He sighs, "Go ask."
I search the house high and low, and I find them Nat next to Wanda in the kitchen eating leftovers at the breakfast bar.
"Nat, can you drive me?"
"Where?"
"Vinnie's." I wink to let her knowthat we're not actually going to Vinnie's.
"Sure," She takes one last bite of her cereal, walks over to the sink and puts her bowl into the sink.
"Oo! Can I come?" Wanda cooes.
"Whatever, but we're leaving right now." Nat says reaching into her purse and pulling out her keys.
Nat and I start to walk away.
Wanda slips on some flip-flops and runs after us, beating both of us to the car she climbs in the front seat, turns around towards a window she can see us through, and sticks her tounge out at me.
In the car as I buckle my seatbelt, Nat asks, "So if we're not really going to Vinnie's, where are we going?"
"Pete-"
Wanda interupts me, "Oo!" She teases.
"So I'm taking you to this Peter's place, this late? Will there be adult supervision?"
"I believe so."
"It'd be best if Wanda and I walked you up."
"Don't you think two avengers escourting me up to his apartment is a little suspisious?"
"She has a point." Wanda sides with me.
"Fine, I'm walking you up. Wanda's staying here." Nat compromises.
"But-"
"No buts, or I won't let you out and we'll go back home and tell your father where your really going."
I sigh and mumble, "Fine."
Nat parks behind the building.
We take the elevator to his floor. I approach the door and knock.
A skinny, middle aged woman with long brown hair opens the door, Peter's aunt.
She was wearing red pants and a blue tank top.
"Hi!" She shakes my hand, "You're(Y/N)? Peter's lady-friend?"
I nod as she turns her head to Nat.
"Hello. What's you're name?" She shakes Nat's hand.
"Natasha, (Y/N)'s aunt. And you are?" Nat replies.
"Peter's aunt, May. May Parker." She answers.
"Okay, thanks for bringing me." I turn to Nat.
"Uh-huh."
"Love you, bye." I hug her.
"Bye sweetie," Nat smiles.
May invites me in as Nat walks back to elevator.
May closes the door before speaking up, "So, you're the girl that Peter has a crush on."
"No," I mumble, apparently too quiet to hear.
"He finally got the guts to ask you out! Good on him!" She laughes.
"No," I repeat.
"Then who are you?" She wonders aloud.
"I am the girl who is helping Peter get Liz."
"Oh," It finally clicked in her mind who I was, "Oh, okay. Any-who would you mind going to get Peter for dinner?"
"Sure," I start walking down the hall, but quickly realize that I don't know where I'm going, "Uh, where?"
"Peter's room- First door on the right." She states.
I nod and head towards the door. Opening the door I find Peter, but there was one problem.
He. Was. Shirtless. Not only shirtless, he wasn't wearing pants. I saw Peter only in his boxers. I don't hesitate to close my eyes. In this moment, I wouldn't mind if I died. In fact in this moment I feel I might die, out of embarrassment.
"Dinner." I say, eyes still closed as I close the door.
When I hear click of the door stop, I open my eyes, face still burning. It had felt that you dipped my face right into a hot lava, fresh from the center of the Earth.
I walk back to the kitchen and see puffs of smoke from the stove.
"Dang it!" I hear aunt May say. She notices me, "Burnt it. Um, how does pizza sound?"
"I mean, I wouldn't complain." I shrug.
"Okay," She walks to her room, leaving me alone in the living room. I assume she left to go get her phone to order the pizza.
I walk into the main room and plop down on the couch. After sliding my phone out of my pocket I begin to scroll through social media.
I hear a knock at the door. Dang, that pizzaman sure is a fast one!
"(Y/N) could you get that?" She yells from the other end of the hall.
"Sure." I respond.
I walk to the door. And not giving it another thought, I open it.
But the man before me wasn't anyone I would've thought to show up at the Parkers'.
He wasn't the pizzaman. He wasn't even a door-to-door salesman. No. No. He was...
My father.
