"Hey I'm going to go outside for some fresh air, I'll be back in a little while ok?" I told Jesse.

"Yeah, sure." He mumbled, distractedly.

We were in a little store after eating and he was fascinated with whatever he was looking at. I was looking at the window when I saw Emily's boyfriend, Ace, pass by. He looked in and waved me outside, I didn't know why he didn't just come in.

I walked outside, it was a dark, and cold night. There was a slight breeze and not a person in sight, just a dim street light lit up the alley the store was next to. This part of Los Angeles was dead, and it gave it me an eerie feeling.

"Ace?" I asked, looking around.

I heard his laugh and walked towards it.

"Dude, what are you doing in this ally? It's really freaking creepy out here. And it's cold. Where are you anyway?" I asked, trying to adjust my eyes in the dark.

I saw his figure lazily leaning against the wall. It was at the very back of the ally. I rolled my eyes and walked toward him.

"What are you doing, Ace? Quit being stupid!" I whisper yelled at him.

He just gave me a dry chuckle. This boy was getting on my nerves and fast. I walked over closer to him, I was about a foot away and I could smell the alcohol practically oozing out of him.

I cringed away, "Ace, how much have you been drinking?" I asked him.

"Why d-don't you ask Emil-Emily?" He slurred.

"What does she have to do with any of this?" I asked him.

"She - hiccup- was cheating on me. Can you believe that? I gave her all my bloody time and she repays it with cheating on me. I found her at the mall, laughing with this guy, they were all flirty, too. What a slut. I can't believe I love her." He bitterly laughed.

"Oh Ace, I'm really sorry. Are you sure she was cheating? Did you two talk?  Maybe it was just a friend.." I told him.

He threw his bottle at the ground, shattering it. A piece flew up and slid across my cheek. It started to sting like hell, I put my hand up to it and took it off when I felt warm liquid running out of it.

"What the hell Ace! That could have done serious damage! Stop being stupid. Here, let me take you home." I told him, grabbing his hand.

I started to drag him away but he didn't budge.

"Lets go. I don't have time for you to be stupid." I told him, annoyed.

I tried pulling him but the dude was like pure muscle or something. I pulled hard one more time and instead of me going anywhere, he pulled me back and crashed me into his chest.

"How about I take you home?" He gave me a sly grin.

I tried to pull away but he wrapped his other arm around me.

"Let go of me." I tried to sound strong but it came out as a harsh whisper.

"How about no pretty girl?" He laughed, the smell of alcohol was so strong I thought I was going to get drunk just standing here.

I tried to push myself off even more. "If you don't let me go I'm going to-"

"Going to what? Scream? Do that and I'll slit your neck your ." He put a small, sharp knife to my neck and held it there. I should have seen that one coming.

"You wouldn't." I breathed.

He quickly flipped us around so I was being pushed against the wall by one arm, and the other with the knife still on my neck.

"Oh I wouldn't?" He asked.

He lifted my shirt and slid the knife up my waist, he put his hand over my mouth to cover up my scream. I felt warm liquid dripping down, I didn't know how bad it was but it burned.

"Now how about we have a little fun hmm?" He slid his hand up my shirt.

I wanted to scream or fight back but I felt so powerless. Oh God please, help me. I sent a silent prayer.

Adam's POV: I sat up in bed and turned to put my legs on the floor. I rubbed my head in my hands frustrated. I put my boxers on, then my pants, and finally my shirt. I was about to get up when I felt a hand grab my arm.

"Where you going babe?" Came a sleepy voice.

"I need to get home." I muttered.

"No you don't, you need to stay." She purred.

I pulled my arm away. I was already frustrated and I just wanted to go home to Eve.

"We can't keep doing this! I gave you my number so we could talk about things, not so we could hook up every chance you get! I can't keep telling her I'm going to work or with Blake! It makes me feel like crap and I hate doing it." I said, annoyed at being here still.

I put my shoes on and grabbed my jacket, I slipped in on and walked out of her bedroom door.

"Adam wait!" She ran after me and grabbed me, spinning me around.

I tried not to glide my eyes over her body. I looked her in the eyes and I knew that we both felt nothing but lust for the other, at least I didn't. That feeling was even dying for me.

"Stay, please." She hugged me.

I almost laughed at the situation, the song Tickets described how I felt for the woman in front of me perfectly.  I shook her off.

"I'm done doing this. I can't do this to Eve anymore, she doesn't deserve this. I don't deserve her, I'm such a piece of shit. She's perfect and this is what I do to... I think I'm in love with her." I sighed.

After all our time together I found it hard not to love her.

"What?" She asked me, looking at me like she couldn't believe her ears.

"I love her, okay! I don't love you. Sex is, no WAS, all we had. I'm walking out the door, for good this time." I said as I walked toward the door.

I was halfway out when she grabbed my arm again.

"Please stay, Adam. I know you love me!" She begged.

I pulled my arm away once more.

"I don't love you! I love Eve." I yelled at her.

I could tell we were being loud in the hotel she was staying at but I didn't care.

"You really love her?" She asked, hurt evident on her features.

"Yes Anne, I love her." I whispered.
