Stuck

"I'll go. Only if you promise not to hurt anyone." I sighed, I wasn't going to cause any of the people I love more harm.

"No, you're not going!" Jesse yelled, more to Tyler than me.

"You heard the lady, she's coming with me." Tyler smirked.

"Not if I have anything to say about it." Jesse told him.

"That's why you're not going to be able to do anything about." Tyler smirked.

Just then the man that was near Jesse hit the back of his head with the butt of the gun, causing him to fall to the floor. As I reached for Jesse, Tyler grabbed me, dragging me to the van.

"Jesse! Wake up!" I yelled, with tears in my eyes.

Tyler put his hand over my mouth, "Be quiet! He's fine, he will wake up in a while. Although he'll have a killer headache." Tyler chuckled.

I thought he was going to put me in the back with Gabi and Dom but he put me in the passenger seat. He got in and locked the doors, not like I could go anywhere anyway. I just prayed that Adam found Jesse soon.

As soon as the guy was inside the back of the van he pounded on the van and Tyler drove off. After we had been driving for a few minutes I still hadn't looked at him. He did give me a bottle of water though, I took a few drinks. I was parched. I leaned my head against the window and sighed, my body felt so tired. All I wanted to do was close my eyes, as much as I tried to fight it I couldn't. .......

I woke up with a jolt and covered in sweat with a bit of a headache. I felt around for a familiar someone on the bed I was laying on, nothing. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I was in a small room. It only had a bed, that I was laying on, a chair up against the wall, a lamp, and a door. Nothing more, nothing less.

Then I remembered everything from the night before. At least I think the night before, I had no idea how much time had passed. I groggily stood up, maybe if I could slip away with out anyone seeing. I could get far enough to get help. I needed to know what happened while I was out.

The concrete floor was cold on my bare feet, I was grateful I was wearing the same clothes. I turned the handle on the door. Locked. Figures. I walked around the room, trying to find something, anything, of use. I hadn't come across anything when the door opened and light flooded through the dim room. I looked and saw Tyler smiling at me from the door way. He held his hand out for me to take, as he walked up to me.

"I see my sleeping beauty is awake, finally." When I didn't take his offered hand, he grabbed mine.

"Where are Gabi and Dom?" I asked with a hoarse voice.

He didn't say a word as he dragged me out of the room. We were met with stairs as we walked out of the room I was in. So that's why there was no windows, it was a basement. He helped me up the stairs and it wasn't much different. The windows were boarded up, it was concrete floor, an old couch was in front of an ancient tv, a couple lamps, some guys were occupying the gross looking kitchen, they all had guns at their hips. We walked past them, and into a little hallway, we went to the last door and he opened it. Inside was pretty big, it held an actual jail cell type of cage thing. I saw blankets in it. Lumps under them.

"You didn't." I whispered to him.

He nodded. I ran to the cage and got my hand as far through as I could, I pulled the blanket off of one of them. It was Dom. I shook him.

"Dom, Dom!" I yelled. He stirred, and looked at me.

"Evie?"

"D-Dom, I'm sorry." I didn't know what else to say.

He tried to smile at me, and whispered. "Just promise me you'll get Gabi out?"

I looked to see Gabi sleeping with him on the ground, covered by blankets.

I nodded, "I'm getting you both out. I promise."

Tyler grabbed me and dragged me out of their room. After he shut the door I turned to face him.

"You said you would let them go!" I yelled at him.

He shook his head, "My dearest Eve, I said I would not hurt them and they are fine! I'm feeding them, clothing them, you name it. I can't just let them go. They could tell someone about us." He ran his hand across my face.

I smacked it away. His face took an angry expression.

"Don't disrespect me." He growled and grabbed me by the waist, "You're mine."

I scoffed. "I'm not yours!" I growled back, shoving him off me.

That earned me a smack to the face, which stung. Badly. I held my face, willing the tears not to spill. He wrapped me up in a hug.

"I'm sorry, you just make me so mad sometimes... Lets go talk about everything okay? About us." I numbly nodded as he led me away.
