I shifted around in bed, trying to get comfortable when a pair of arms wrapped around me and pulled me on top of them. I opened my eyes to see Adam had pulled me on top of him.
He smiled at me, "Morning princess."
He kissed my forehead after I looked at him and grumbled.
"C'mon, don't be like that! Christmas is coming up soon." He smiled.
I tried to hide my frown.
"How long exactly?" I asked.
"About a week. Eight days to be exact. Why do you ask, babygirl?" He brushed some hair out of my face for me.
I tried to play it cool, "Just wondering. I'm going to go wake up Cas!"
I smiled and ran to her room. She was staying with us for a little while, I was thinking of asking her to move in. It had been about a little over a week since that night at dinner when her and Blake really hit it off. They had spent a lot of time here since, Jesse was also constantly out with that new girl. It was weird though, she never came over here, oh well, he has to bring her over sometime.
I ran down the hall to Cas's room and burst through her closed door, only to be instantly filled with regret.
"Goooood morn- OH MY, WOAH! OH DEAR LORD WHAT IS- STOP! NO! MY VIRGIN EYES! I NEED HOLY WATER! OH, YOU NEED TO PRAY!" I yelled as I covered my eyes.
I had walked in on Cas and Blake totally doing it. With out the door even being locked!
I heard footsteps running, "What's wro- Oh c'mon dude! You are having those sheets cleaned when you leave!" Adam told Blake.
"Can y'all get out?" Blake asked, annoyed.
"Can you get out of my sister?!" I yelled at Blake.
"EVE!" They all yelled at me in different tones.
Blake's was stern, Adam's was appalled, and Cas's was embarrassed and shocked.
"I'll let you two, uh, finish here." Adam said and he pulled me out of the room and shut her door.
"You can't just say stuff like that!" He hissed.
"Whatever, I'm making pancakes!" I threw my hands up in the air and walked into the kitchen.
Adam followed after me, "Pancakes are not the answer to this!" He called.
I got out the griddle and pancake mix and started mixing.
"Pancakes are the answer to EVERYTHING!" I yelled back.
Adam shook his head and watched me as I put blueberries in the mix and threw the mix on the griddle. After a few minutes Cas and Blake stepped into the kitchen. I turned off the griddle and looked at Blake.
"I'll let you serve yourself. Like you served yourself to my sister." I said and stormed off to Adam's room.
"Eve! You're being ridiculous!" Adam called.
"Bite me!" I yelled back.
"I'm going to!" He yelled back.
"YOU'RE IMPOSSIBLE!" I yelled and slammed the door shut and locked it. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door.
"Go away." I muttered.
"It's me, Evie Baby." I got up and opened the door and yanked Jesse inside, slamming the door shut before anyone else could slip in too.
I sat on the bed and ate a pancake. I shared mine with Jesse. He picked up Adam's guitar and started to strum it.
"What's got you all bothered this morning?" He asked me.
I told him the story of Cas and Blake, all of it. He started to laugh.
"It's not funny, Jess." I glared at him.
"I think so! Don't you think you're being a bit hypocritical?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Not even a tad?" He asked again.
I shook my head once more.
He sighed and smiled. "Well what if Cas was that way about you and Adam?" He asked.
"I wouldn't like it.." I mumbled.
"So why are you doing it to her?" He said like I was five.
"Cause! I just was surprised is all." I huffed. He smiled, set the guitar down and pulled me under his arm while I continued to speak. "I was also the one who practiacally carried her through her last break up, it was rough. She really thought the douche was the one. She swore off of men after that and hasn't dated anyone in two years. I can be over protective of her, I know Blake's a good guy I just.. I don't know. I was caught off guard and didn't react in the most mature way."
"Well, that explains it a lot more. Now why don't we go out there and apologize, hmm?" He said.
"Fine. Only if you make me your famous chocolate milk!" I grinned at him.
He laughed. "Deal."
