I whirled out of bed as I heard some tapping at my window. While cursing whoever would wake me up at three in morning, I tiptoed across the freezing cold wooden floor and wiggled the window open just as a rock hits me square in the face.

"The hell—" I screamed as someone climbed up the ledge. I rubbed my forehead where it rock hit and backed up, searching for a weapon. On my left, I feel a an object and picked it up. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

I raised the weapon as my hands shook violently when I saw a dark shadow emerge into my room. I shrieked and closed my eyes as the shadow approached.

"You seriously think you can hurt anyone with a teddy bear?" A familiar voice exclaimed as I realised what I was shielding myself with. Turns out, it was my build-a-bear, Ice Creams. "Nice try."

"What are you doing here at this hour," I roll my eyes as my best friend came into view. Because I lived high up on a mountain, the moon is very immense and bright as it lit up my room faintly. His hair was even more blonde than usual under the moon's luminescence as his gray eyes lit up with sparks. "Can you let a girl sleep?"

"No, I can't," he bounced on my bed and turned on the light as I groaned in annoyance and pulled the blanket over my head. He dragged the blanket off of me as I hissed and clawed at his face. "Get up, I have an adventure!"

"You sound like a seven year old..." I punch him in the arm as I tossed to the other side of the bed. He then started poking my face non-stop, making me shout, "stop it!"

"Okay, c'mon you want to go on an adventure or not?" He laughed as if annoying me was funny. I didn't think it was funny. I actually wanted to kill him at the moment for ruining my sleep.

"No, now leave," I imply as a smirk spread across my face. He placed his hands on his hip disapprovingly as I stuck out my tongue at him. Then, by surprise, he picked me up and hauled me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Let me down!"

"Nope," he chuckled as he ran out my bedroom door, down the stairs and out the front door. He didn't put me down until we reached his loud, old, blue, Chevy pick-up truck. He stuck me down into the shot-gun seat as he ran to the driver's side and turned on the engine.

"I'm still in my pajamas!" I complained as he drove away from my house and down the massive hill it stood on.

We rode in silence as I peered out the window with my hands folded across my chest when he blasted the radio up when Single Ladies by Beyonce came on and he sang to it as loud as possible while I slapped my hand on my face.

"Where are we going?" I bellowed over the noise of the music. All in all, this is very annoying—waking me up at three, dragging me out with my pajamas still on—but very entertaining. It was funny to watch a guy who could probably bench two hundred singing single ladies.

"Oh a place," he shouted as we finally pulled into the parking lot of the community pool. It was night and most likely locked.

"Why are we here?" I asked in confusion and nervousness. He didn't say anything but the smirk on his face was enough to tell that this was not a good plan.

"No reason, c'mon!" This time, he didn't even wait for me to complain but just lifted me out of the car and carried me inside. I squirmed as I saw his best friend who happened to own this pool come into sight. "She's here!" He announced.

"Good," his friend grinned sheepishly. I tensed up and struggled to get free but he had the strongest grip ever. So there I was, dangling from his shoulder, in my pink pajamas, going inside a pool at three. How fun.

"Put me down!" I demanded as we headed to the pool area. The water was still and this beautiful, sparkling blue colour. I could feel his grip loosen as I dropped into the pool with a loud splash.

"As you wish!" He cheered with his friend from the deck as I swam back up to the surface and pulled at his ankle, causing him to slip and fall into the pool. "What the hell?!"

"Payback," I smirked arrogantly and laughed as he picked me up, and threw me into the water. "Hey!"

"Haha!" He laughed as I shivered in the cool water. I climbed up onto the ledge and started making my way back to his car.

I cursed his children and grand children under my breath as he tailed behind.

"Oh come on! That must've been a pretty fun night adventure don't you think?" He hurried up and caught up with me as he tried to apologize.

Honestly, I did think that was fun and a way for me to get rid of what's on my mind. I smiled secretly as I ran to the car, making him run to catch up.
