Fascination ↠ Killian Jones [2]

Alexa, Emma, Killian, Mary Margret, David, Regina, and Gold all hold on tightly as the ship they were on soars through the portal. Within seconds they find themselves at the edge of an island.

"Is that it?" Emma asks.

"Aye, Neverland." Killian nods.

"It looks dark." Alexa muses. "Not exactly how the stories painted it."

"Is any of this what we thought it would be?" Emma inquires.

"True." Alexa laughs while Emma just nods along. "Emma, I know that you're worried about Henry. But we're going to find a way to save him. As you and I both know us Swan's are stubborn, so don't be surprised when we get our way."

"Hey." Mary Margret greets as she and David walk towards their daughters. "What happened to Neal and Henry, it's not your fault. You can't blame yourself."

"I don't, I blame you. All this happened because I listened to you. You say good always wins, it doesn't." Emma snaps.

"What Emma means is that we didn't grow up in some magic filled fairytale land. We've lived in the real world where to most people magic and happy endings don't exist." Alexa tells them. "Look, I mean.. our life experiences are different, we weren't raised in a castle with endless optimists. As much as you want us to, we can't change how we feel or what our beliefs are."

"If you would just let us share our wisdom.." Mary Margret starts.

"I appreciate you trying to be parents, but we're the same age. We have equal amounts of wisdom. And all I want is Henry back." Emma retorts. "Alexa should've never broken the curse. We should've just taken Henry and.."

"Wow, way to drag me into it." Alexa mutters rolling her eyes.

"You're right, then you'd be together." Mary comments. "We missed you two growing up, and it haunts us everyday."

"And that's why we're here now." David adds. "We don't want you to have to go through the same thing too, and you won't. We are gonna get our family back."

"How can you two be so infuriatingly optimistic?" Emma exclaims.

"It's who we are." David shrugs.

"Well, since you are so keen on giving us advice I'm going to give you guys some. I get why you hold onto the hope that good will win in the end. But life isn't a fairytale. Honestly, most of the time, it's.. crap. So get your heads out of those puffy pink clouds of happiness, this is reality." Alexa informs them.
