dan's pov

i wanted to go home but i knew i couldn't rush pj. i could look for him but the entire house was packed with drunk kids so finding him would be nearly impossible.

i don't want to be here.

i headed up the stairway and tried to find an empty room but there weren't any. settling for a spot in the hall a few feet away from a small group of kids, i slumped down against the wall and sat on the floor.

a few minutes later one of the boys was standing over me. i stood up to seem more intimidating but i knew i looked about as intimidating as a pink butterfly.

"hey faggot." one said. he was taller than me even though i was about 6'3.

"um, hi."

"oh look he knows his name." he turned to his stupid friends and shot them a look, they all laughed.

"i- it's dan." i stuttered.

"ha, you mean gaylord!" one of the boys called.

"lord of the gays!" another laughed.

"you'd know a lot about that wouldn't you." i spat back.

it wasn't anything for someone to get worked up about but these guys were really dumb. the boy standing over me slouched frowning. i pushed him off.

"hey, don't touch me." he said. the boys behind him were laughing again but this time it was at him.

"sure." that seemed like a good time to take my leave so i walked away and went to the bathroom. i didn't really need to pee, but i mostly needed to be away from people. if i go back out i knew the boys wouldn't let me get away so easily this time so i decided i might as well try to use the bathroom.

it always takes me a few seconds for me so i stood there for a second waiting, and then i started peeing. i thought i saw the shower curtain move but decided i was paranoid and put my full attention back on what i was doing.

i shook the last of it out, zipped my pants back up and flushed.

the curtain moved again.

"hello?" i said. i was hoping no one would respond but someone did.

"hey."

a/n: i'm sorry for how bad this chapter is but thanks for reading anyways. (this one probably wins for having the most i's in it)
