dan's pov
this was not what i had expected at all. i gazed at the billions of stars filling the sky above us.
"so you see why i like it here now." phil laughed.
"yeah." i say, my voice dazed from shock.
phil laid down on the concrete floor which i guess was technically the ceiling and patted a spot next to him. i listened and laid down too.
he extended a hand to the sky and pointed. "there's the big dipper." he said connecting a set of stars.
"i can see that." i laughed. "in fact it's probably one of the easiest constellations to find."
he smiled. "my mom used to take my brother and i here when we needed to take some time from my dad. she would try to show me where the constellations were but i never learned."
i turned on my side to face him. "this is nice and all, but why would you even bother taking me here in the first place?"
"i don't know, i feel like i can trust you."
i turned back to the stars and smiled.
a/n: thank you so much for 500 views! this really doesn't deserve it and it hasn't even been published for a month. i really don't expect much from my stories so this is really cool to me.
