Sinunod namin ang star gazing, nakahiga lang kami sa isang picnic blanket at nakatingin lang sa kalangitan nasa tabi ko ang wheel chair niya. Gabi na at alam kong nagaalala na sila saamin, pero wag muna yun ang isipin ko diba? I need to be with her and I need to seize the moment. 

Malamig na ang simoy ng hangin and the stars are showing itself to us already. 

"May mga memories talaga na worth maalala..." I said, out of nowhere. 

"Tama...." sabi niya and held my hand. "I hope you'll remember everything that I'll forget..." 

"No, it will stay forever with you and me. Kung mamamatay ako at ikaw, it will be buried with us." sabi ko. I took a deep breath. "Nadine, will you marry me?" 

"Alam mo ba yung ginagawa mo?" tanong niya at bumangon na siya sa picnic blanket, nahirapan siya so I assist her. We both sat down. 

"Oo, nagmamahal lang ako ng taong kahit alam kong masasaktan lang ako, kahit alam kong pinaghihiwalay kami ng tadhana." sabi ko. 

"Alam mo naman pala e, bakit ba-" 

"Kasi eto yung ginawa mo saakin dati. Minahal mo ako despite the fact na nasasaktan na pala kita." I said kaya natahimik siya. "I quit being an actor, we can move to the mountains. I can leave the world behind just for you.... You love me right?" 

"Oo mahal kita pero hindi porket mahal kita iisipin ko lang ang sarili ko. Hindi kita minahal para magbago ka para sakin, naiintindihan mo ba?" she said which shut me up. "A-Alex......di ako makahinga ng maayos..." 

"We need to go back...." 

"No." sabi niya and she held my hand again. "L-Let's stay..." 

Nag-dalawang isip ako, to go or to stay and my heart just make up itself to stay and sit down with this beautiful lady. 

"I can see forever....my future with you....I can see it." I told her and held her hand again, I kissed her and deepened the kiss as time goes by. I stopped, I place her head lying in my shoulders as we look up, sharing the view of the stars. "Ang tagal kong hinintay to, I've been waiting for true love to come.....for you." 

"Love is true when you're waiting Alex. Love is waiting." sabi niya at mas hinigpitan pa ang hawak sa kamay ko habang yung mga ulo niya ay namamahinga sa balikat ko. "A-at sa tingin ko....mag....mag hihintay k-ka pa...." I know she can't breathe well, alam ko.
