Love And Hate A Gideon Cross Love Story

Chapter 3

I woke up at 09:30 am,  since I'm the boss I figured I wasn't missing much,  I got out of bed,  walked towards my bathroom ,washed my face and brushed my teeth , I brushed my hair and put  it in a messy bun,  I then threw on my satin robe and walked downstairs.  Good morning   Mrs Chase, I said and walked into my home office,  I checked my emails and messages.  I had an appointment  at 12:00 with Christian Grey, CEO of Grey Enterprises.  Christian  and I had a good relationship,  and I had grown  close to his wife,  and his little boy,  his sister, Mia and I were extremely close and were actually friends.  We planned a girls trip for the 04 August 2017 till the 10th of August 2017 to Aspen,  Colorado. I checked my messages and my personal assistant,  Paris,  had called to remind me that I had a luncheon,  with Gideon Cross.

Oh snap!  I almost  forgot about that,  it was scheduled for 14:30 so I had enough time to prepare. I decided to step out of my office,  and go to the kitchen to get breakfast,  Mrs Chase  had prepared  hashbrowns and eggs with sausages , I had it with a mug of coffee and went to shower.  After my shower I chose a white,  long sleeved,  figure hugging dress,  that came down over my ankles,  I wore white tie up pointed heels that were suede.  For my makeup I did a full face of foundation  and contour, I really sculpted my cheekbones,  I did a gold eye with winged eyeliner and false lashes,  I filled my lips with nude lipliner and put my nude lipstick over.  I decided to curl my hair so I plugged in my curling iron,  and once it got hot enough,  I curled my hair,  making sure it was wavy,  I took my white blazer with and was headed out the door when Mrs Chase,  came after me handing me my white Chanel purse that was outlined with gold,  it had my cellphone and my purse in it as well as my lipstick and lipliner. As well as my compact mirror and bronzer, with my hairbrush. Oh how I loved how efficient Mrs Chase was.
I walked out the door and into my personal elevator,  I was greeted by my 3 main guards,  Taylor,  Ross and Stewart.  I got into  my car,  and was on my way to the office.  My phone began to ring and I saw the caller ID,  it was Gideon Cross.

Gideon is my ex boyfriend..  I know he's  amazingly gorgeous, why did I leave? Well he lived in New York for one,  and secondly  there was too much baggage attached to his name,  I still loved him,  very much,  but it was better this way.  "Hey you" I answered,  smiling as if he could see me.  " Hey Beautiful,  you know we have a lunch meeting today"
" How could I forget? " I say flirtatiously ,He laughed his raspy laugh that made me quiver in the best  way and said "Well I just called to hear your voice,  I've missed you,  I can't wait to see you today,  what time does your jet take off"
" I've missed you too,  it leaves at 13:00 , I'll have a car waiting to pick me up "
" You wanna face time with me real quick? "
I peeked up and noticed my driver staring at me in the rearview mirror,  due to the way I glowed and smiled when talking to Gideon, " Yeah I have about 20 min until I get to work"
We end the call and I waited for his facetime.

He called me two minutes later,  I answered with a bright smile on my face.  I watched him drink in my appearance.
" Wow, you look... Wow"
" Do you need minute to wipe the drool off of your face " I say teasingly
,he cleared his throat ,"Uh-hmm, sorry I lost myself for a second" he said,  composing himself .
I loved that about Gideon,  he always managed to switch masks so quickly,  I loved him because he took off all masks with me.  Which is how we bonded.  We dated for over a year,  we broke up after I graduated,  I know I hurt him by leaving,  but I had to.
" I can't wait to see you,  last time I saw you was.... " I couldn't complete my sentence, because it pained me,  last time I saw him was when I ended things with him and I left. We only began speaking 2 months after our breakup when we were invited to the same charity gala. Held by Christian.
" Don't,  let's just enjoy this"
I smiled at him.
" well here I am at work",  I said, peering through the tinted windows of my Audi.
" Bye for now, see you soon,  and travel safe"
"Thank you,  I look forward to seeing you" I waved to him and cut the call.

When I walked into the office I was greeted by Naomi at the front desk reception.  " Good morning  , miss Reselle " I smiled and nodded her way. 
I walked into my glass office , which was similar to Gideon's,  ironically. My assistant followed me " Good morning  miss Reselle " I looked up from my desk " Good morning  Paris"
