" We need to get the stats from  London on their latest influx of sales" I stated to Paris as she noted it on her company provided iPad. "I also need to email the Windows Art Gallery ,thanking them for the art they had sent to me" Paris nodded in understanding. " Have the travelling arrangements been made for today? " I asked. " Yes, your jet will be chartered at noon " I checked my watch in it was 11:30 . Christian should be here any time now. I can't believe how fast the day was going.

Naomi buzzed me and I figured Christian was here but instead, "Miss Reselle there has been a delivery for you, would you like me to sign for it and bring it to you or would you like to sign for it yourself. " I buzzed her back saying I will be down in 5. That was odd I said. I walked out my office down to front desk and found a massive bouquet of red roses with a card, I signed for it and noticed the look I got from Naomi. I smiled and walked away with my roses.
I read the card and on it said " For you, beautiful, know that you're on my mind ~Gx. "
I knew those initials anyway, Gideon Cross. I grabbed my iPhoneX out of my Chanel handbag. I dialled the number I knew all too well. He answered on the third ring. "Beautiful
" was all he said, man that raspy voice. " Gideon, the roses are, breathtaking, thank you" I said, I'm sure he could hear my smile. " You're welcome, I wanted you to know that you are on my mind" he said, seductively , I giggled , and I heard him suck in a breath .  "See you later Mr. Cross " I said " See you soon" , with that I ended the call and  as if on cue, Christian walked in. " Christian " I said with a nod and smile. "Serena " he smiled and  I nodded in return.
"So shall we? " I said gesturing for him to have a seat. We shared small talk for a little while, he noticed my flowers and the card . "back with Cross? " he asked " no, we've just been talking a lot, I'm flying down to meet him, we have a meeting at 14:30 " I say, " Be weary and tread carefully " Christian advised,  I didn't take his advice lightly. We begun our meeting and we finished just before 1 . He left and I told him to pass my regards on to Anna and the kids. I then left after him to the airport . I texted Gideon as I was about to take off.
"I'm leaving now, see u in a half hour"
" Great, I'm anxious for you to get here"
I smiled but didn't respond ,what Christian said really had me thinking.
I decided to go online and search Gideon, in recent news about 3 weeks ago, he was seen picking his ex fiancee up from the airport, I shut my MacBook closed and braced myself. We just started flirting then.. So what the Hell Gideon.
