Jake's POV
I woke up screaming. Why? I don't know. I had been out of the hospital for 4 months. Erika was still in a coma and on life support. I was staying at the hospital because I was told yesterday if she doesn't wake up in the next day they are going to take her off life support.
A nurse rushed into my room as i was screaming asking if everything was ok. I couldn't bare to live with the thought I killed Erika. I had come and visited the hospital everyday for last 4 months.
Today is the day. Erika will either wake up and live again or she will die because of me. The doctors had scheduled to take he off at 2 and it was 10 am right now. I had 4 hours to say me last goodbyes.
My stomach started to rumble so I started to walk out of the room when I heard crying. I turn around and I see the sound is coming from Erika. I race to her bed and press the call button. Erika moves her hand slightly to hold onto my hand.
A doctor rushes into the room and see Erika crying. He tells me to get out so they can do some tests.
I immediately rush out said and call Erika's mom angel and tell her her daughter has woken up. She was extactic and she told me she would be there as soon as she can.
Right when I finished calling Angel the doctor walked out and said Erika was healthy and that I could go and see her. When I walked into the room Erika was awake. I ran up to her and gave her a big hug.
E:JAKE!!!
J: hi erika
E: Hoe long was I out for
J: 4 months
E: Really
J: ya
E: Jake, thanks so much for being here. I read your note and I love you too. I just don't understand why you wouldn't tell me.
J: Im sorry if I let you down, im just so happy your alive.
By now I was sitting on the bed with her and we were looking into each others eye. We both started to lean in and WE KISSED. That was the most magical thing every. I knew it the first moment I saw her she was the one.
