Erika's POV
Jake and I left the hospital a few days later. School was officially over. Jake wanted to go to LA with his brother. I really don't want him to go because my parents won't let me go.
Jake's POV
Erika is going to be devastated when I tell her this but I am moving to LA with my brother next week. I really don't want to leave Erika but if I want to pursue my dreams I guess its going to come at some kind of cost.
I pull up to Erika's house and knock on the door and her mom answers it.
Em: Hey Jake come in.
J: Hey I just came to talk to Erika.
Em: Ok she is in her room.
J: Thanks
I walk up to Erika's room and she her on her phone. She looks so beautiful it breaks my heart that I have to tell her what im about to tell her its going to crush her.
J: Hey Erika
E: Hey Jake what are you doing here?
J: Can I sit down?
E: Ya your making me worried.
J: (After sitting down) Um I have some bad news
E: Pk. im really getting nervous now.
J: Well you know how I wanted to go to LA with my brother.
E: Ya
J: Well I get to go but I leave in a week.
E: ......
Erika's POV
I didn't know what to think. I was happy for him that her gets to pursue his dreams. But sad because I wont be able to see him.
1 Week later
Today was the day I was going to have to say goodbye to Jake. We had decided we were going to stay together but just have a long distance relationship.
Jake and I were standing outside of the security checkpoint.
J: I love you so much. You helped me be a better person and without you I wouldn't be here today. No matter what happens you'll always be mine. I love you and I promise to never hurt you. I promise this wont be the last time were going to see each other.
No one's POV
Those words Jake would never forget but he would break them in less than a week. But as he promised he would see her again one day.
