A lost heartbeat??

Jake's POV

I was waiting in the waiting room for Erika to be out of surgery. Angel had left to go home and so had Jc. I was sitting alone till the doctor came out and asked if I was here for Erika. He took me back to a room and told me he had some news.

D: So, the surgery went well except for about 1 hour in we lost her heart beat. We were able to revive her. By that time we had almost finished. She now has a chip near her heart. When Erika wakes up I will have a nurse come in and show you how the app works. Erika is in the recovery room as of now. I believe she woke up around 10 minutes ago. When she woke up the first thing she said, she was asking for you.

J: Thank you so much. Is there anything else I should know?

D: We have put her on the donor list and we will try to find a donor. As you may know lungs are a hard organ to get. As soon as we find a donor we will contact you and have the surgery ASAP. The only thing we can do at the moment is put her on medication to slow the process. Take care of her, Will you?

J: Of course. Thank you again. Also when will she be discharged?

D: We would like to keep her here for a few days to monitor her. After that she should be free to go. We have a few things we will have to discuss with her and her family.

Right as he finished talking the door open and Erika was brought in. When she saw me a smile grew on her face. I stood up and gave her a kiss. I thanked the doctor and he walked out.

E: How was the surgery? Did everything go ok?

J: Ya. ( I told her everything the doctor had told me)

Erika's POV

I was relieved that the surgery was over but, I was also worried that they would not be able to find a lung donor for me. Also I was worried about what would happen if the chip doesn't work properly and I get really sick or hurt. I didn't tell Jake because I know he had been stressed lately and I didn't want to add on to that.

10 Minutes later a nurse walked in and explained to me and Jake how the app would work and what would happen if the chip senses something wrong. She also gave me a paper telling me things I can't do.

Restrictions

1. No physical activities, including all sports and PE classes

2. As of now till the stitches come out, No swimming

3. Also as of now, No showers or baths

4. No smoking or vaping

5. No having sex

Some of the things on the list are going to be hard ( if you know what I mean) while some are just going to be a bummer. Maybe I can switch out of my PE class so I can be in Jake's Class now that I can't do PE.

The nurse had left a couple minutes ago and I told Jake I was getting tired. He told me I should take a nap. I wanted him to be next to me so I told him to come lay by me. He got om to the bed with me and turned on Netflix.

E: Jake, I love you. Thanks for being here for me.

J: I love you too, Erika. I would do anything for you.

We looked into each others eyes and passionately kissed. It soon turned into a heated make out session. As we started to get into it, both of our phones rang saying that my heart rate is too high. I mean I was breaking really hard.

Well I guess we got to test the app out for the first time.

Hey guys. Did I trick you with the tittle? What did you think about Jake being hacked. I saw the comments on the first video Ben posted and I kinda figured it out on the first vid.( Not to brag or anything) Hows your week going? School is officially out for me YAY!!! Once I get back from my trip I might update a lot since I will have time. Not giving any promises though.
